What i week i have had,Shannon was really ill all week last week, she had a raging temperture and was throwing up all over the place. She wasn't sleeping throw the night and was clinging all day and screamed if the phone or door went. It absolutely wore me out. DH was trying to help but having just moved to a new job he is very busy himself and could only do so much. Well she finally picked up at the weekend and is now tearing around as usual driving me nuts! But just as she gets better, i have now started getting really nasty braxton hicks and sharp stabbing pains down below. I am just counting the days until beanie finally arrives. Hopefuly she is not going to make us wait too long.

Not too long along i found out i was pregnant, with my first child. It was unplanned, so i was understandably shocked. I found out at a routine smear test at my GP surgery, so i spent the most of that day thinking about how i managed to miss the symptoms. I always thought i would be a woman with really bad morning sickness, but i wasn't. It was just bad enough for me to put it down to stress. I am a second year student nurse, so i was lucky i avoided x-rays, infections and heavy moving and handling! I told my partner and he was really supportive and we decided to keep it. He thinks it is going to be a girl, and although i don't mind either sex i would prefer a girl. I was the only girl growing up so a little girl would be a blessing.
I went for my booking appointment yesterday and heard the heartbeat. It was the most amazing experience. I had been worried that there wouldn't be anything in there, or that it was all just in my head, but that made it real. It was a shame that my pa ...

Lots of companies are sorry
1) used up this years allocation/budget
2) we do in house fund-raising for a charity already chosen
3) Unable to help at present but good luck
4) our staff do fund raising days themselves for charity's close to their hearts
I can't believe that all those multi-national companies are not able to supply some merchandise for a auction/raffle or a free meal/day out etc. Infact, basically hardly any of them give to charity they basically get their staff to part with their money but it looks good on them, cause local newspapers always say the staff of xxx have raised, which gives them free publicity.
I have had more luck with some local one-man band businesses who turn over less in a year than they do in a day!!
I must however say thanks to one local car dealership who have supplied items for an auction and to Pontins ...
