Well, I am stressed, Lucy has finally gone to sleep although she has been a monkey not sleeping properly through the night. Me and DH had argument last night and we talked about everything as I think it has got to a point where we are going to have problems. I am not sure whether this is normal but have been told it can happen. I am happy with things now as DH and I are getting on better but Lucy our DD is still being a monkey more then ever. Every time I want to do something she starts and everytime I think she is asleep she isn't. The HV said that she is supposed to have 3 hours sleep per day, but she hasn't read the baby manual I am afraid. She makes her own rules. However, we are going to Tumble tots this friday and we are also going to see what happens with baby groups this week as well. This is as we are new to the area of Redbourn and we are still surrounded by boxes. Although now we have moved, the sale fell through and we have had to move in with parents, while they are away but even so. Anyway, hope ...

Well many of you girls are saying that you are tired by all the time the kids take up - pregnancy and how your DH may seem to not be aware of you being so tired with kids and bump! Men are a curious creature - they do not realise the full extent of pregnancy and why we feel so tired all the time! Now I felt lucky as my DH was aware to an extent as I do happen to tell him how I feel on a regular basis. We have an agreement that we tell each other everything and I am not shy about telling him exactly how I feel and usually it works. Take today for example, I have had a cold and cough since last Tuesday and felt awful all week - I finally told him - yes for the fifth time - blunter then before - that I wanted him to take time off from surfing the net and look after his daughter for a few hours allowing me to sleep.
During my pregnancy I felt awful pretty much alot of the time - this was due to working 10 hour days 5 days a week and pretty much with no break - I am now a childminder ...

Well, I have a cold and also a spouse who seems to forget that while I am a ful time mother, I need help with baby Lucy who is now 7 months old. She is a handful and it rattles my cage somewhat that said spouse can't be bothered to do anything else but to go to the pub!! with his brother and cousin! the other night it was pub and curry while my mother came to help with the baby!
Anyway, today has been better - I have had a bit of time to relax and was quite happy to jump on the net and talk to some friends and get a bit of work done. Anyway, I went surfing on websites and find the news websites most infuriating. There are articles upon articles on all things from celebrities to the normal everyday people, from politics to war and I was amazed to find comments which would be seen as different are not allowed on their website.
I firstly found the fact Charlotte Church is pregnant again after 9 months ago giving birth, which is somewhat strange. People s ...

Well, I am exhausted and it won't change - Lucy is a bugger when it comes to sleeping during the day but she is at least at this moment asleep. I can at least get on with the house work. List never ends. We are moving soon - into my mothers as we can't cope with the rent and fees on flat which are crippling us! it's not fair. we both work hard and now it's come to the crunch we can't keep up with it anymore. we are also selling our car - it's drinking the petrol so we have to get rid. Anyway, we need to do this and Chris is going to change jobs as well - so that could be quite good.
better get on with housework - oh joys of being a housewife!!

Well, today saw a very teethy baby with lots of ear rubbing and lots and lots of dribbling and lots of gumming things. Lucy who is 7 months on the 18th has been dribbling for a long time, and nothing else has been happening much. She has just about learnt to sit up and she has also rolled over - but just twice. I think this girl only wants to roll over a couple of times and that's it - "I've done it, don't need to do it again" is what she thinks.
Lucy is eating biccies herself now which is quite amazing and has also taken to feeding herself with her bottle and also throwing her bottle as well. it's very funny but not when it is full and is liable to drip and spill out on the carpet.
