To add a friend... If you find someone on the site, with whom you would like to be a Bounty.com friend, follow these simple steps: Click on the 'My friends' link in Mybounty. In the box provided, enter the nickname of the friend you would like to add to your list. Click search Click 'Add to your friends list' at the bottom. You will now be able to send messages to that member. You can click on 'My messages' to read, delete and create new messsages. Alternatively, if you view a members profile page (which you can access through the discussion forums or if they send you a personal message), by clicking the link on the profile page you automatically add that member to your friends list. To ban a friend... If you find that you no longer wish to send or receive messages from a certain Bounty.com 'friend', who has been added to your friends list, simply view their profile, and click the 'ban this member' button. This will block any attempt from them to send you a message. This action is reversable by clicking the 'unban this member' button on their profile page. To remove an item from your list... If you would like to remove a friend from your friends list, please click on the D image next to the appropriate item.

Here's a tip that you can use to find a specific profile quickly. Click on anybody's profile and replace the nickname in the top URL (after the Target=) with the nickname of the person you wish to find and hit ENTER. Once the relevant profile is on screen, you can then add them to your Friends List.
Banned members will not show as banned if you click their name from your friends list and you can still send a message however of course that member will not be able to see it if they are banned. Use the above method to check a profile if you want to check if someone has actually been banned.
