Try not to worry - the vast majority of breast lumps are benign, but you should still get it check out.  It sounds like a blocked duct to me, but I would still pop to your GP.

I had a breast lump removed just a couple of weeks ago - not too bad an experience considering, but I am relieved just to have it gone!!

Hope you get things sorted quickly

ANy lump or redness or anything different about your breasts that you have noticed needs to be looked at. It's most probably a blocked follicle or cyst type thing but an appointment with the nurse or doctor will only take a few minutes and sort it out for you. If you have an infection you may need anti biotics or something like that. Could be an inflamed gland?

Please get it checked out, like pp it is not worth leaving it unchecked. I have 2 friends going through treatment at the mo. Both I think left it longer than they should have before going to doc's. It is not worth leaving it unchecked.

Pls get it checked out, if it's nothing then the worst thing is you've possibly wasted 1/2 hr of your day going to the doctor, whose time you won't be wasting as they would rather you go to them then not at all.

I say this as my best friends mum was diagnosed with cancer last week and has six weeks to live

Pls if you are worried get yourself down to GP, I'm sure it will all be fine x

any lump should get checked out, whereabouts on the breast is the lump as if its at the side could it be your underwires digging in and causing it,  if its in an awkward place get DH to check that its not just a spot thats lingering.

From experience they say if a lump hurts then its normally nothing to worry about, but any change, lump, pain should be checked out.
