You could try the debt consolidating companies but a lot of them charge huge interest rates purely because you won't be able to get a loan anywhere else. Have you looked into getting an IVA? Google it it may help. Don't be caught out by thinking your making things better now but infact you'll be paying a much higher interest rate and probably paying a loan for longer. Try the Consumer Credi Council they are free and will give you lots of advice. I'd try somewhere like that first before you go ahead and get a loan to pay off other loans, it seems a good idea but rarely is.

Stupid question maybe, but have you tried your bank?

hi looking to consolidate our debts worked outthe financesand we would save approx £500 per month by doingthis via a loan. however our credit rating is rubbish anyone know of any decent lenders out there that take circumstances into account rather than just credit rating
thank you

have a look at www.cccs.co.uk i am with these and they have been a god send they work out what you can afford to pay each month and then tell you your options. i dont like debt consilidation u just end up paying more interest and more money spread over a longer period of time. with cccs i pay £300 per month will be debt free in approx 3 yrs and i belive most of my creditors have now frozen interest and charges.
