Hope everyone is okay
Good to hear from you Lu thought you had deserted us!! Oliver is doing really weel he is such an easy baby. He just sleeps wakes up for his feed, plays for a bit then sleeps again!!! He has a wotches hour about 5.30 6 ish then at 6.30 its was pjs bottle and bed, he usually settles about 8.30ish although toniht I can still hear him churning away! Then in the morning he wakes about 6 and just talks to himslef for about half an hour then has his bfast about 7.30am!! Boys are soo much easier than girls (in my experience anyway!!)
Can't believe this is the first time I have sat doen I have been at dancing with Amelia we have had a dressers meeting because its the show next weekend, my god the women are bossy!!
Well Done Linda on getting the job is it a similar role to what you are doing now? Good luck for the other one.
Glad Mark has got on the auotcrime team Rosy, Dannys last words as he went to work tonight was 'crap I'm going to wet!!!' He is thinking of trying for armed response but enjoying what he does at the moment.
Just been up to put Oliver's dummy in and he lay there laughing at me!! Cheekiy boy
Hows Jacob Rhonda? Hope he is feeling better.
Any plans for the weekend anyone? We know what you are upto Simone lol!!! Going to my sisters for dinner tomorrow then on Sunday weather permitting we are going for a walk round Dovestones Reservoir.

Linda,congratulations on getting the job! Whens the other interview for the other job,fingers crossed you get that one!
Well marks finally going on the autocrime team on 7th july.His hours are so much better,no nights only 4pm-midnight and the 8-6pm and he only works every other saturday so at least the boys will see more of him and i'll beable to plan things now i know his hours dont change every week! He's in plain clothes too which hes pleased at but it means hes going to want to buy more clothes as he'll complain he's nothing to wear!
Anyway got to go,ill be back online tomorrow though xxx

Hope you are all well.
I went for a job interview today and got the job, but I don't know if I want to take it, as I have an application in else where and I really want that job. But i have not got an interview yet. The school have been offered a job at is where my 2 older boys are.
Im off to bingo tomorrow night as my line manager is leaving and thats where she wants to go then we are off round the town.

sorry not been around for a while, getting 2 children sorted each day seems to take up most of my time! Had a quick scan through - sorry to hear your sad news Louise. Hope everyone else is ok & holiday/wedding/ hen night plans are all coming together.
We went to Devon a couple of weeks ago for 10 days, I was dreading taking Sam in the caravan but all went ok & we had great weather. DH has got a bad back, something to do with his discs & has been off work for 5 weeks. He went to Flint House Police convalescence (sp) home on monday for 2 weeks so I feel like a single parent at the moment. He's having physio, accupuncture & hydrotherapy each day, there's a bar, 3 big meals a day & trips into Oxford, I'm sure it sounds more like a hotel!
I saw my Mum's vicar on sunday to arrange Sam's christening which I think we'll be having in Sept. Sounds like Oliver's went well Louise. How's he doing? Sam sleeps well one night then is terrible the next but hopefully will get better. I've just set up a facebook site but not been on much & haven't worked out how to use it & invite people yet so haven't seen any pics.
Won't leave it so long next time! Lu

We went out to wollaton park again today. Most of the events yesterday were cancelled due to rain. Today was sunny but v.windy. Apparently we've had 70mph gusts here in Notts, so the flypasts, skydivers and climbing walls were cancelled, but we still had quite a good day. Kids are shattered. When we got back to the car there was a big branch over the bonnet. Luckily no damage though.
Kylan is just fed up with school and is ready to move on. Also, her current school has a new head teacher and so has changed quite a lot. She loved the old head, and misses the way school used to be. Not long left now! She has a day at High school this thursday, which she's really looking forward to.
I going to pop on facebook and look at these photo's Rhonda.

Rhonda,i saw the pics on facebook,isabella looks lovely in her outfit! she looks so big now! How is Sam? Is everything alright between her and ben? Ive not seen her on here for ages.I'll send her a message on facebook.
Kerry,I remember when Daniel went through the same phase as not wanting to go to school.It only lasted a couple of weeks but it was because there were two bullies in the class but one of them has moved schools and the other is being monitored so hes fine about going now thankgod. Its awful when you have to force them to go but im sure when their at school they probably forget about not wanting to go i hope anyway! Is there any reason why she doesnt want to go? I know shes a clever girl from what you've told us,maybe its just getting too much for her. Thankfully theyve not got long left not until summer hols!
Rhonda,sounds like the party will be brilliant,can i come too?!! lol Were having a joint party for Daniel and Oliver in July.We have been waiting for a nice weekend to hire the bouncy castle and get out his water slide but its been so unpredictable that weve put it off now until Olivers birthday that way he'll get to see all his friends in the summer holidays too,should be fun with loads of kids running round!!
Right i must go and get daniels school uniform ironed,speak to you all soon xx

Weather not too bad at moment, but dark clouds in the sky. I'm dropping Bella at my parents and then taking Jacob to a party at 11am. I have to stay because Jacob hates me going. Time I get home hubby should be up.
Hubby sold hibike yesterday. It was far to big and he wants a bike that he can ride to work, the one he had was no very practical.
Right going to get these dressed and get going. Jacob was up wandering around the house at 5 am and kept waking me up.

Well its not raining at the moment. So have got my washing out. I have washed Ian's new shirts and they don't even need ironing.
was going to go to a childrens farm today but Ben is at a sleepover so think I will leave it until next weekend and do the cleaning instead. I was suppose to be going to flamingo land tomorrow with school but there aren't enough kids going so I don't have to go. I'm glad as I wouldn't have got in till about 6 then would have had to pick the kids up.

Kerry, sorry to hear you haven't been well. My Jacob gives me the same story every morning. I get cross at time, because I feel so guilty and would just like to say, you don't have to go, but I have told him he won't be able to have a good job to earn good money if he doesn't, he says he doesn't want a good job...... Leaves me speakless most days.
I didn't go to the zoo in the end, Jacob said he wanted to go shopping for Crazy Bones which suited me as couldn't bear walking around in the rain. I bought Bella an Upsy Daisy outfit, will post pictures on Facebook later. So cute.
Right, I'm off to watch BB.

Hi all
Well what a day we have had - it started this morning when Dannys sister phoned to speak to him but he was in bed as on nights. Anyway I spoke to her and she said the police knocked on looking for her dad! (he goes to their caravan every weekend) Dannys grandad has been in hospital for 6 weeks after a fall and has been gradually getting worse any way the hospital wanted Dave (the dad) to go as he was getting worse and his organs were failing. So I woke Dany up and we went to the hospital (after sorting kids out!) We stayed until about 1.30 then came home as it was just a waiting game and Danny was shattered. Just as he was going out to work we get another call to say he is rapidly deteriorating and think he should go to say Goodbye
He has pnuemonia, kidney failure and breathing problems he is dosed up on morphine and just being kept comfortable so I am sat here waiting for a call from Danny. So in the space of 3 months the Carter side of the family will of had a birth, christening, death, funeral and wedding! We were going to take Oliver in tomorrow so Grandad could see him one last time and Daniel decided he wanted to see him, Amelia is at my mums. I'm shattered!!!Sorry to be sad but i just needed it to get it all out....

Hi Everyone,
Had a quick scan through the posts and glad to see everyone is well. Belated congratulations for Rosy's anniversary and Olivers christening.
We've had a bit of a crazy time - hence me not posting. Mum and MIL have both been quite ill, and then we have had gastric flu go through the house (still recovering now!) Kylan hates going to school now, and every morning is hard work because she keeps asking to stay off. I know she has to go but feel so guilty for making her. Darren has left CID and gone back onto response. He's decided to go for Sargeants next time round. As for Caden - we haven't had much luck with potty training (oh, Well done Alex!!) but i'm sure he'll be ready soon. He is talking more now though, and tries so hard. Bless him!
Your hen night sounds like fun Simone. Bet you're getting excited now!
We went out for the day today too Rhonda. Wollaton Park for veterans weekend. We thought the rain would stop, but it was awful here and we came home early and very soggy. Hope you had better luck with the weather.

Hope you are all well. I have been shopping for holiday clothes for my eldest son, he thought if i went with him he would get more money spent on him and he did lol I did myself a dress from Jane Norman in the sale and a few bits for my hols,
I don't have many face book addresses so can't look at pics
When Ian finishes in custody around Aug he is hoping to get into the crime team.
Hope its not raining tomorrow as hoping to take Alex to a childrens farm.
What everyone upto tonight.
My line manager is leaving work next week and she wants to go to bingo for her leaving do then out round town, so I might win some money lol

Morning all,
We are off to the little zoo, but it is raining, but Jacob insists we still go.
Hubby has new top, sounds like Ian's Linda, really easy, just wash and hang up no ironing. Thank god.
I'm busy trying to arrange Jacob's 5th Birthday. We are having a huge joint party with 3 other children. We are calling it an end of term party, so all siblings and parents are welcome. We are having an entertainer for a few hours and a bouncy castle and then BBQ. Looking forward to it, shame hubby can't get the day off. Apparently there are no holidays left that suit the summer holidays, so looks like i will be going away alone again.
Louise, your photos look really nice, can't believe Amelia took them. Looks like you have lost all your baby weight, well done. I'm still trying a 11/2 later.
Simone, can't wait to see the hen pictures. I had a really boring hen party, my own faulty, I was petrified what they would do.
Rosy, Congratulations on your Wedding Anniversary, Did you do anything nice?
I spoke to Sam last night. She is ok, trying to sort out her life.
Louise, I'm so glad Alex has gone. I'm quite enjoying this years, perhaps because I'm not watching it as much as I did the others.

Louise,ive just seen your pictures of the christening,they were lovely,glad you had a great day.I only just put mine up yesterday as ive only just got them sent from the photographer we had,he didnt want to send them until we'd come back from our holiday! Yeah we dont live far away from eachother do we?! It would be lovely to meet up one day.Weve been married for 3 years but been together for 9 years.
Linda,Marks work are getting the new uniform too,Lancashire constabulary are getting the same combats and polo tshirts and the handheld computers but Marks just been told that his space has come up for the burgalary/auto crime team and the inspector is just working out his duties then hes going off section so he wont get the new uniform as hes in plain clothes every day!
Simone,i bet your getting excited now arent you?! Are you getting married at a church and then back to yours for the reception? or are you having a civil wedding? Either way it will be lovely,i always wish i could have my wedding day again,it was one of the best days of my life,very emotional! Make sure you enjoy your hen night after all that wedding planning! Im sure your ready for it! I had two hen nights,one was for the oldies and the family and then had the second one 3 days before my wedding with my bridesmaids,both were brilliant fun,we dressed up as cheerleaders for the second one,theres pics on facebook of both my nights!
Right id best go to bed,Marks home at 3am so i want the bed to myself for abit!!

Hi everyone
My hen night is next saturday..got my Police outfit lol..there is20 of us goingso will be a scream.Dean is on his stag do,he is away in Newcastle the weekend and got there safely..just dont go out if you live anywhere near lol.
Been working and working this weekend, only have 4 weeks to go now and everything is done. Dean is getting measured for his suit on monday and thats it..just the waiting.Will put photo's up on facebook after the hen for you all to have a laugh at...sure i will wake up with a kebab in one hand..jezzzz done that one before but thats another story.
Oliver's christening looked like it went well, saw the photo's on facebook xx great stuff
Hope you ladies are all well?, Dean is back to work Wednesday and no doubt it will take him 3 days to recover lol

Evening all
Hope everyone is well, hope you ad a lovely anniversary Rosie how many years have you been married? Saw your photos on Facebook when it came up Olivers christening I thought it was my Olivers and wondered how you got the photos!! (blonde moment!!) It would be lovely to meet up with you we prob only live half an hour away.
I have just put Olivers photos on Facebook from his christening most of them are from the church because Amelia tok some the party and did something to the camera!!! We had a lovely day and Oliver was very good he didn't even murmur when the priest wet his head! He is very laid back thoug (typical boy!!) he goes to bed about 730 - 8pm and touch wood has been sleeping till about 6 - 7ish!
Danny is on nights this weekend I'm sat here watching BB with a lovely glass of bacardi! Amelia has her dance show in two weeks so mad busy with costumes etc then in 3 weeks its the wedding of the year! Me and my friend are spending the day shopping on Weds to get our outfits, having lunch and a glass of wine with no kids can't wait!
Sam and Lu hope you are both okay not heard from you for ages?
Simone not long now till your wedding it's your hen night this weekend isn't it? Where are you going? Hope you have a fantastic time.
Rhonda hope Isablle has stayed away from your laptop lol!!! Our internet has been down for two days nad I felt as though my right arm had been cut of lol!!

Happy anniversary Rosy.
Glad you had a great holiday Rhonda. We go 5 weeks today have just got mine and Alex's passports back.
Humberside police are changing the police uniform. Ian had to go and collect his yesterday. They have got black t shirts a bit like cycling ones and lightweight combat style trousers. Is anyone else changing uniforms.
It sports day at school tomorrow so i hope it is nice as I have to take my tutor group out to watch.
I hope you are all well.
I might wait for Ian to get in from work as I have not seen him since Sun night as he is on lates.
