Evening!
Glad to hear the christening went well Rosy, hope you enjoy your holiday. We haven't booked or even planned one yet, as we will have to see how both parents are doing.
We have a trampoline (well, Kylan does). It was a present from new little brother Caden when he came home for the first time. I had to have a go, but went so dizzy. You forget what it's like when you haven't been on one since school.
I hope your house sale/buying goes well for you Rhonda. Hopefully a perfect house will be on the market as you get a buyer.
Caden has just woken up crying......back later!

Hi
hope everyone is keeping well. I know what you mean Lou about forgetting how tiring having a newborn can be. Just as Tilly is sleeping about 11 hours each night I'm up every 3 hours with Sam, can't remember when I had a good nights sleep. I've even stayed at my parents a couple of nights over the past 2 weeks with the kids so DH can get some sleep but he hasn't offered to reciprecate(sp). Hope you're scar starts to get better Lou. Had Sam's 6 week check today, he's put a pound on in a week! Now 10lb 4oz.
Glad the christening went well Rosy, I've just joined facebook so will hopefully be able to work out to use it & be able to see some photos. We are going to try to get Sam's christening sorted sometime over the summer.
Hope the house selling goes well Rhonda, are you staying in the same area? Linda, I understand exactly how you feel about late shifts! Has anyone heard from Sammie recently?

Hi everyone,
The christening was lovely, thanks for asking! We were the only christening in the church so it was nice to have it private and personal just for us,the same happened when Daniel was christened,i must pick the dates well! Anyway the service was nice and the after do was lovely, everyone had a good time and Oliver was so good,he was fast asleep in church and the vicar had to wake him up to pour the water on his hair but he didnt bother,he was as good as gold! He got lots of lovely presents and £150 in total so he did really well! We had a photographer take pics of everyone so when he gets the pictures back to me ill post them on facebook!
Now the christenings out of the way ive got the holiday to think about! Were going next wednesday, were flying from manchester airport but its all sorted, just got to pack and arrange someone to check on my fish then i should be alright, really cant wait to get away for 16days,we all really need it!
Hope your all ok,hows olivers weight louise? bet hes weighing alot now!
Speak to you all later xxx

How did the christening go Rosy?
27/4/08 21:15
Evening Ladies. hope you are all well.
I will apologise now as im going to have a moan. When any of your dh/dp are on lates do they do things with you in the morning before going to work?.
Well this morning I decided to take Alex ice skating for the 1st time (the older boys were doing their own things). I said to Ian why don't you come with us. He said i'm at wk this afternoon and i want to watch the championship football. I was so mad as I just feel like a single mum and that he does not make an effort to do things with us. Anyway when I got in I had a moan to him telling him that there were loads of families there and I saw a couple of friends and they were all with dh/dp. I said to him that people probably felt sorry for me been on my own with Alex (slight exgeration). Im feeling really lonley at the moment with the shifts. and spending most weekends on my own as i'm at wk when Ian is on rest days. He does not seem bothered by it. He is off next weekend so we might do something you never know lol
Sorry for going on.

Hello everyone,
Just a quick one! Hope to get back on later!
Hello Gill, I'm Kerry, married to Darren who is with Notts police (has been for 4 years) and we have 2 kids.
Good luck Rosy for Sunday. Hope everything goes realy well.
Rhonda - Daz was like that recently, getting really fed up with the mundane day to day stuff, and feeling as though he was doing c**p jobs and not getting anywhere. He has been much happier since being on CID, even though he works loads more hours. Hope things even out soon. Good luck with the new attempt at selling up.
We are using one car at the moment Linda, but are soon going to have to get another one. I didn't think we needed two but really miss having my own. Thing is, when you hear of repair bills of £700 it puts me off again.
Thanks for asking about my mum and MIL Louise. They are both kind of ok at the moment. We know that neither of them will get better, so they are both having bursts of chemo now and again to give them more time. At the moment they are both stable, but MIL's tumour has increased in size recently.
Anyone heard from Sammie recently?
Hope everyone is well.
Take care

Hi everyone,
Welcome Gill, best of luck to OH.
Well Done to Ian.
Hubby is having a rough time at the moment and hating every minute. He was told if he could get in half hour early which means starting at 530 am and leave that 500 am so getting up even earlier but he wouldn't get paid. Also his new duties are to make sure that the office is tidy. He hasn't done all these years and examines to be given jobs like that. They have cancelled his rest weekend this weekend and apparently that happens a lot.
Anyway enough moaning, apart from it took me over and hour to get to work this morning which is only 10 minutes normally. A big lorry had overturned.
Been busy as we have decided to sell again. Just going through contracts at the moment.
Right going to have to go as Bella is getting really tired. Speak soon.
23/4/08 17:26

Strathclyde Police!
Ouch at the £700 to get your car repaired! - that must be a nightmare! I dont drive so dont know anything other than the subway or buses! - Taking my lessons just now though! xx
22/4/08 19:57
Evening Ladies,
Of course you can join us. Which force is your husband joining??
Ian was the same Rosy. He was not interested then changed his mind and had about 3 months to revise. Part 2 in Oct near us too.
Some of our teachers are on strike on thursday, but not me as it is a different union so I have to go to work.
Well my car is still off the road as its going to cost me about £700 to get mended so we are managing with one car not very well though. AsI have to use the bus sometimes which is a nightmare with Alex as he wants to stand up and walk about and press the bell. So I get home from even more stressed out.
I hope the new babies are been good and everyone else is well.

Hi everyone,
Just had a quick read of the posts it sounds like everyone is well.
Ian passed his part 1 so was really pleased. The course for the part 2 is £295. No he wont have to move out of the area. But he was told friday that they are not doing the part3 interviews for 2 years as they have got enough sargents. But he can still go acting. when he finishes custody in Aug.
Ian is on nights this weekend. So have had a boring weekend. The shifts are really bothering me at the moment. I ususally don't mind them. but i get fed up of been on my own. I think I feel it sometimes as none of my family live near me. They all live about 200 to 300 miles away.
