Hi All,
Poor you Louise, hope you get sorted soon.
We have a real dilema, a house has come on the market, not where I want to live but it such a nice house with 150ft garden and is only 5 minutes up the road (driving fast). It is a little out of price bracket but because it has everything we want, we are thinking we might stretch, but it will probably go very quick. I think we are going to put ours back on the market, because if our neighbours have sold then we have a good chance of selling and then see what is about. But I'm quite excited which is really unlike me, because I always look on the negative side, but we are being over run by toys, clothes and Isabella now needs her own bedroom so she can have girlie things.
Hubby is back on lates today after loads of shift changes at the last minute. He certainly is having less rest days than he use to.
Right, think best go and declutter......

just a quickie whilst Danny is keeping Oliver occupied!!
Hope you are all well - hugs to Isabella and hope her head is better, hows Olivers arm Rosy? Is it his christening next weekend?
Linda has your dp heard anything yet? Will he have to move stations or anything when he passes?
Danny should of gone back to work on Monday gone, but I have been having problems with my wound it has been infected and is open on the left side so have had swab taken and been on antibiotics - anyway when he went back in and told his srg he told him to have a few more days of and come back in tomorrow!! How nice is that? He even phoned the following day to see how I was!! Olivers doing okay feeding like a monster every 3 hours! He was 9lb 4oz on Mon whenthe midwife weighed him! Lu how is Sam doing and how are you?
Simone sounds like your wedding plans are coming on - I loved planning mine and wnated to change career to a wedding planner!!
Kerry how is your mum and mil doing? Sammie love your doll house photos on facebook!

Evening Ladies.
Just had a quick skim through the posts. I'm glad Isabella is ok Rhonda, bumps on the head are so scary. Seems like your road is turning into a bit of a racetrack Rosy, what with that bike recently too. We had a similar incident on our road recently, and we missed the whole thing. Just looked out of the window and saw a car on it's roof. God knows how we didn't hear it overturning.
Seems like the babies are doing well. That's good to hear!
Well, it looks as though Daz will be staying on CID for quite a while. He has to take an exam though in a few weeks, so fingers crossed.
I've not been up to much but have been out enjoying the sun when we've had it with the kids.

Evening everyone,
Isabella is much better now, just left with a little graze on her head. It hardly bothered her.
Linda, has Ian had his results. One of hubby old PC's has had his and he failed, which surprised hubby. I hope he passed.
Been to work today, was a little annoyed because my job share made a mistake and I had to pick up the pieces and have a patient be quite abusive to me. I can understand why he was cross.
Lou, sounds like you get your little man into a routine.
Rosy, I hope you are over the shock of events.

Rhonda,hope isabella's ok.Its always worrying when your children hurt themselves,you always wish you could take the pain for them but kids are tougher than they look,just look at oliver!
Well it turned out that the lad who hit our cars was 15. He stole his grandparents car who live behind my parents house and then hit the boy then our cars. My parents car came worse off,theyve got £1500 worth of damage,mine has a cracked grill,borken licence plate and scratches but im shocked its not worse as he moved my car back 2-3 foot! luckily my car was tough! Hes been bailed until the 6th may.
What a lovely few days weve been having! weve been out on some lovely walks with the boys!

Hi,
Rhonda hope Isabella is feeling better & you're getting some rest. Is your hubby enjoying it in the Met? Is he hoping to specialise in a certain area? My hubby's on lates but I've managed to get the kids down at a reasonable time so off for a bath in a minute before Sam wakes up for his bottle. I'd forgotten how tiring a newborn is & I'm too old for this getting up several times a night!
How's Oliver doing Louise? I stayed over at my parents last night as Mum had an operation last tues & can't do much at the moment but I think it was more tiring for her having me a 3 year old & a 3 week old there.
Hope your car isn't too bad Rosy. I don't understand why some people are such idiots when they get behind the wheel of a car.
Hoping to pop into work tomorrow to show Sam off & catch up with my unit, that's as long as I manage to get a few hours sleep tonight!

Rosy, what a pain with the cars? Some really stupid people out there.
Well, have hubby back home. I have had a really bad headache all day so when hubby got up I went to bed to be woken half hour later because Isabella has fallen and hit her head, so we rush her to hospital because the bump was huge. On the way I put ice on it so I think I calm things down a little. She was checked over and given some pain relief and thankfully sent home to keep a close eye on her. Bang goes having a well earned glass of wine, and I still have the headache so probably go to bed early.
I hope everyone is alright. Will write more when I can think straight.

Some people i tell you!!make me soo angry, hope he gets what is deserved to him....arghhh (little rant there)
How is everybody though? good i hope?..Dean is on nights so yes im lonely as well, hate when he does nights..gets grumpy at times because he is tired.Well at my weigh in last thursday i put on 4 lbs lol..darnn blamed 'the time of the month' lol...hope that is the reason..well a couple of pounds anyway.
Been good this week though and been working out when dean has been here with Kian..only for an hour but better than nothing...dont worry i will take loads of photo's for you all to see...when im nice and sobour that is lol

Hi everyone,
Im in shock at the moment! Im at my parents house and we heard their car alarm going off and we ran out and a 10 year old boy was in the middle of the road and had been hit by a car and then the car reversed back to hit him again.Hes smashed into my parents grand voyager and my sisters clio and then he hit mine and drove off,abandoned the car and then ran to someones house but the police got him.I had to ring mark at work to tell him about our car. The poor boy was with his friend riding their bikes and the car had to stop at a junction to give way to them and he got mad that he had to stop so he drove at them and knocked them off then reversed back to hit them again.

I know what you mean about feeling lonely. I do quite often. I never thought i would. But since having Alex I do. There is talk of Ian doing similar shifts to that. Which I am not looking forward to if it does happen. We hardly see each other as I wk so Ian's days off are when I'm at wk aapart from his 2 weekends off every 6 weeks. but he has been working them lately as they have been short staffed. He did buy my 2 rings as a suprise last week. He must be feeling guilty.
Taking Ben to his last football match of the season today (hooray). No more standing in the cold/wet until next season.
Ian should get his sarg results sometime next week.

hi everyone,
God do I feel lonely at the moment. Hubby started his new job and the new shifts. He is on 7 nights and by the end of it will have worked 69 hours in all. I have hardly spoken or seen him. His dad and brother are down for the weekend and he will hardly see them because he is on a 6 until 6 so by the time he gets up it is time to leave for work.
I may go into London on Sunday as hubby dad is running the Marathon and would love to see him but don't know if it is worth it with 2 children. I think there will be far too many people about.
My friend and I are in the process of setting up a site for our Moonwalk in London, so if anyone is interested in sponsoring us http://www.justgiving.com/sachaandrhonda I would understand if you don't because there are so many people wanting money for difference things, but no harm in asking. Just need to do a bit of training.
Linda, I hope you get your car sorted and the laptop.
Rosy, Oliver will walk eventually, Jacob took a few weeks to gain his confidence back.

Hi Everyone, Congratulations on the birth of oliver.
Hope you are all well.
Not been on for ages as have problems with laptop. I need to get a new battery lead but they were £70 in pc world so going to order one on line later. I have seen one for £12 inc posting.
My drive shaft has gone in my car so trying to manage with one car until mine can be sorted. Which is a nightmare because of the shifts!!! Mine probably won't be ready until next week. I have to get up early sat,sun.mon,tue to take Ian to wk as I need the car and he is on earlies.
back at wk after the hols. so i am tired now.
Alex fell asleep at 5 as he had not had a nap today so he will probably be up at 4 ish!!.
Oh well going to get a bath and an early night as I have an early start tomorrow.

hope your all well. Marks on a 5-3 tonight so its just me and the boys again!
Olivers cast was took off on tuesday.They want to see him again in may to check its ok but he still wont walk on it,he stands on his tip toes but wont put his weight on it,i think he's abit scared to.
Its been a weird day today for the weather,one minute its pouring down then its bright sunshine!
Not done much really,yesterday we had daniels friend from school round and me and his mum took the kids out for a lovely walk,we must have walked at least a mile there and another back but because we were chatting we didnt realise! at least i got some exercise though!
Gosh,sounds like your wedding is coming along! i remember all the little things we had to get but my mum took over most of the planning so at least it took the stress off me! It'll be worth it though,i love weddings! cant wait to see your pics!!

evening everybody
i know its quite on here lol.
Well we picked up our rings today and they are lovely, seeing the weather has been lovely we have done the gardening and weeding, ready for some bright flowers to go in nearer the wedding.
Ordered our party tent and bought some lanturns today..just buying little bits to make the garden look really nice on the day.
Kian is back to nursery on monday which he is really looking forward to, we spent the day in town and took him to the beach when he loved.Off to slimming world tomorrow to get weighed but have a funny feeling i have put on weight after losing 5 and a half pounds last week lol...arghhhh damm this rosa wine

Hi all,
Jacob is back to school tomorrow.
I have done a really silly thing and sign up to the Moonwalk in London on the 17th May. I will be walking 12 miles in my bra. What have I done? It is for charity I keep telling myself. I am going to have to get training.
Hubby starts his first night shift tonight the do 7 nights in a row, which is different to what he normally does.
I hope everyone is ok. Sounds like the christening arrangements are going well Rosy, remember to take lots of pictures.
Right going to have a wander now, might be back later if anyone is about.

Hi everyone!
Been really busy and have only just mananged to come online!
Olivers christening is 27th april at 2pm then afterwards at a social club for something to eat.Ive been out this morning and got oliver his christening outfit,hes now in 2-3 years. Im getting a plain iced fruit cake from m&s or asda then im going to decorate it with the things from daniels christening cake. I kept them all from when daniel was christened when he was 9 months old.I dont know why its took me so long but im glad its all arranged now!
Marks on the dreaded nights,hes in bed now so im trying to keep the kids quiet.
Olivers having his cast took off on tuesday,hes been walking on it even though hes not suppose to be!
Hope all the newborn babies are ok and the new mums!

I hope everyone is enjoy this lovely weather. We went to a saxon castle, toy museum today. Had loads of fun. Loads of animals to feed.
Simone, I bet you are really excited. I can remember years ago how excited I was. What have you got to do in your garden and rest of plans? I bet you are loving the time on your own. Can't image it any more.
My boss hasn't paid me for 2 months now so living off fresh air. He would be horrified if he knew. I'm going to remind him on Monday. He has lots going on, dad died so hasn't been the right time to tell him, but now I'm broke so desperate.

its marks weekend off but his lovely bosses have put him in today on the blackburn rovers vs manchester united match. Hes got tomorrow off then hes back on nights,very nice off them isnt it!
Rhonda,we too have been looking at afew houses,one was across the road from dans school which would be ideal but the third bedroom is smaller than a shoe box but we found a 4 bedroom,2 bathroom with a garage and its already empty,its near to where we are now so its not bad to get to school or the motorway for mark but were going to wait until after our holiday to go and look round it.If your house you've found feels right then its meant to be!
Louise,hope your feeling abit better,ive heard of that happening before. You should treat yourself to something nice to make you feel better! Olivers leg is better thanks for asking! His cast came off last tuesday but hes only just started walking on it.
