Ally like Sumaiya says try not to worry about what it could be. IA you'll find out soon enough when you see a doc. Could be like Ameli's experience too. When I first tested with S the line was so light that it was practically nonexistent
. Keep us updated.LOL about good people

Hi ,
Aleena when i was pregnant with papu there was a faint line 2, hcg leveles were realy low, io told everyone positive ...a week later docters test came back negative, but my body felt preg.......they said it was too early...pharamacist said tehre tests were 99 percent accurate , i dunno, i just lied in the bath and cried my heart ourt and my firnds were all huiddled around, going , dont worry , you are preg hahah lol, then doct did another test and it came possitive!! was chuffed.
21/11/08 18:21
inshaallah aleena i do hoep all is well...and its just imbalance of hormones as nazmin said......are u on microgynon????
21/11/08 18:20
aleena best not jump to conclusions it can just add to the anxiety whether u are or not
madina was 22 months or so when abu bakr was born, and she was prob i guess to young to question it. she just turned up at the hospital on the day and said oh baby....and i said its ur lil brother.....but i would prob say yes the baby is growing inside and then allah swt helps the baby come out...no more than tht.....
tho last yr madina cam home saying a kid said " her mums baby cam out of her bum" and to madina that sounded very rude or bad..iygwim......and she did tell the teacher ...they were told not to speak like tht ....but yes each to thier own...maybe this gilrs parents told her all lol
however can u imagine if i had another baby....the questions would be more as they are older .....

also one other thing i noticed before i was due my period, i was out shopping and telling my friends that i kept feeling a werid sensation on the sides of my ovaries like i feel in pregnancy, appart from that nothing, its such a mystery, which i never tested now, better not to know.
21/11/08 18:09
Salaams all, ok i did another test and its written early testing on it, i was gonna wait until two days and use a digital or something and the test looks practically negative but i can see a very very faint line,so maybe postive as in if i put it near the light. and yes sumiya 21 days is very late and if i was prgenant i know the line shoould be much darker, i do have a strange feeling and am gonna see the gp on monday unless i get pains or very heavy bleeding during weekend. i think i read that 1 in 3 women miscarry in the first 3 months and half dont even know about it unless they check with a pregnacy test, i have had no paions, no sickness nothing. i guess these things can happen, i will ask gp on monday what she thinks. also im keeping the test so when dh comes home he can confirm he saw a line as i dont want my eyes to play tricks, unless he comes home too late and it expries anyway, it says discard after half an hour.
Niz when i mean people backhome, i really dont mean you or your family, you guys seem more educated and such good people, much better then me, you speak better english then me too, lol, i think i mean people from places in pak etc. Niz i am like you i just naturally told dd and didnt even think twice about it until now, Sumiya what are your views on this, did you tell madina that abu bakr was in your tummy? or said he just came from the hospital. I dont think theres anything wrong with saying you got the baby from the hospital as well as saying from mummy tummy, they both are innocent things i would have thought.,
21/11/08 17:50
salaams all hope all well ...all this baby talk eh
anyway aleena 21 days late should show up on a pregnancy quite well.....i usually get the tests from online and they detect early pregnancies. bf can delay one period to another....but if u have not come on monday do retest and then consult a doctor,,,,usually id be worried if i was late and had abdomen pain or irregular bleeding
oh and aleena i dont have a telly either.....
21/11/08 17:34
Salams everyone. Checking in after a long time so forgive me if I don't remember all the posts. I've just read the last bits of conversation. Been busy the last week or so. Today was a school holiday for N (Occasional Day, whatever that is) and Monday is Inset Day. Took the kids to a playzone close by. We had so much fun, not just N&S but me too. I played with them, zooming down the slides etc. S is a bit of a daredevil, she is up for all the big kid games. It was fun to have a girls day out
.Ally I hope you get to know soon what is happening. Like Naz says do see the doc if you don't get a postive and still haven't started. I am very, very surprised at the baby talk, I would NEVER say that we got a baby from the hospital or bought one from the shop! How do you explain a massive tummy? Especially if you're slim all over and have a huge bump in front? I loved it when N used to keep her head on my bump and listen for S and she laughed and laughed so much when S kicked her once when she had her hand on my tummy. She still remembers it and she was telling S about it the other day. I have never heard of anyone not telling their children that there's a baby in mummy's tummy.
And LOL about not knowing about periods until you started. Am I the one with the third world upbringing or what, I knew all about everything including the nitty gritty details of intercourse at the age of 9
. I used to read a lot, and there were loads of books I had access to (nothing trashy by the way, this was at my grandparents house). Much later (when I had nothing new to learn!) my mum gave me a book which had all the facts of life and was written from an Islamic perspective. You know where you have pics of the embryo and what the Quran says about it etc.I don't believe in telling anything not appropriate to their age though. I wouldn't tell them about the exit path for babies or how the baby got in, some people do but I don't think that's appropriate at this age. I once saw a book for very young children with drawings of sexual positions etc. and was like
. Some would even show labour videos to 6 year olds but even as an adult I have no desire to watch one. Saying there's a baby in mummy's tummy is different though, and I did say that I need to go to hospital to get the baby out. No stories whatsoever, just the truth in an appropriate quantity.Ok, got to make dinner now. I sound all *tut, tut* and *shakes head* above don't I?

21/11/08 17:15
You may be worrying over nothing Aleena ............. maybe yu are stressed ...........lots of reaosns .......................... do not worry til you need to ..................... cheer up ..................and it may all be over nothing
21/11/08 16:53
Thanks for the reply naz. I retested with a cheap test yesterday so i think maybe thats why it didnt come up or maybe the first positive was in error, or maybe its a miscarraige as i have read if you get a positive and then a negative it maybe a sign of it.
I dont want to keep testing as it'll probably just worry me im gonna assume all is fine and im not pregnat unless i get a positive again, and im gonna buy a good digital test or something.
Just last week i applied to ucas and if i get a place wanted to continue my studies as i really want some form of qualification to fall back on if i need to, and with the current recession predicted there will be a shortage of unskilled work im presuming. im so scared, im not emotionally ready for another baby but of course God knows best.
21/11/08 16:39
OMG ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well .......................................... I would wait a further few days and then go and see GP to get it sorted ..it maybe that you are hormonal ..................... and errm does not the pill not work when you are bf????
OMG a third baby .............................. well get them out ................................ whislt they are toghter .............. I had three under four at one stage ......................
i owuld wait and get another test doen and thenif still no luck then get DR invlovled
21/11/08 16:22
ok all this pregnancy and period talk i think i might reveal something. I do tend to blabber on and on if im nervous or tense so apologises if anyone took anything i said to heart.
Ok i'm over 21 days late for my period but on the mini pill so when i saw the nurse for my check up two weeks ago she said the pill or breastfeeding maybe cause of missed period and if i had done a pregnancy test and i had and it was negative.
well i retested two days ago and a extremely faint line came up, on one of those tests where one line means negaitive and two positive, it was so faint i could hardly see it but it was there, i re tested again and there isnt a line, either could this mean ive had a miscarriage or could the test be wrong but on the packet it says if the control line is there it means it works, or perhaps im so early pregnant that the test isnt picking it up properly, i have decided to wait a couple more days and test. any advise?
21/11/08 16:15
not that its right to mix, just that they didnt undertsnad that if you go a school so sometimes have to study with the opposite sex or talk to them etc, im not talking about myself but i remmeber the gossips around at that time.
21/11/08 16:09
oh btw i dont have graphic pics in my books or anything maybe just of pregnant bellies, just thought id clarify.
yeh i guess i look back and these things dont really bother me much so i guess they do make you stronger. nadia is lucky mashAllah, as i think most of our parents came from asia and didnt know how school environment in uk is, like when i got older parents would have a fit if they saw there child mixing with the opposite sex, when they are coeducated it is very hard not to talk to eachother.
21/11/08 15:54
Oh Aleena how awful ......................... jst as bad as my underpant story .................. and how alert i am with naida about such matter .such a difference
still what dont kill youmakes you stroger ....................... havign had to dela with these issues has made me more confident
21/11/08 15:52
Oh i love scrabble ..................... i still want to play ..me and sumiya still palying one after another
21/11/08 15:49
Nazmin i had some awful stories of childhood too, lol. one being when i was at middle school i think and i had to wear skirts and i wasnt allowed to shave or wax and im very light skined for an asian but i got dark hair, how embarrassing, why they didnt let me wear trousers them days lol, i dont know why i didnt wear tights maybe it was summer, and a boy use to tease me calling me hairy etc. i use to live in surrey and amongst majority whites where they either had light hair or use to shave, my friends use to always say just shave but i wasnt allowed of course lol.
21/11/08 15:40
Oh I totally forgot about scarbble as hardly anyway apart from sumiya seems to play anymore so i thought i would start a game with you and then forgot, i need some of your memory mashALlah lol.
Nasima some girls in my class started before me and use to say stuff like, 'oh i'm on my period, or ive got cramps etc' but my close friends hadnt started and tbh i was abit of a day dreamer at school, and abit dopeyesh lol, so i dont know i just never really thought what periods actually are. to be fair it wasnt my mums fault as she said she thouhgt i learnt it at school and assumed i would start late like her at 14. but i had one random one and then no sign for another 6 months so i could get embarrased again without warning lol.
I think it also depends on the kid i was quite a dumb sort of dopey child (can't think of a nicer way to say that) that bought all the 'strange' stories i was told, but i really think dd is very clued up and pays attention to when i chat to my friends as well as family so i do try to be careful and spell certain words etc. Tbh i was too lazy to even think of hiding pregnancy books and spell out everything pregnancy related so she could keep her innconence of not knowing that babies come from mummy tummy for 6 months more as she would have seen it on cbeebies or somewhere else, unless u dont watch tv like humera of course alhumdillah. I was very into my books when i get pregnant etc.

Oh btw, Nas too. Saw that you were worrying about your pregnancy, try not to think of negative scenarios, you'll be fine IA.
