Often people who so so so do not know me think it is because of me being a lawyer but nothing could be far from the truth . I very rarely excercse lawyer skiils on people .. more like use my head to see if someone says soething and it is not right to point it out. Obviously my life would be easier if i did not say anything to the man and jsut accpet it and smile so meekly, humbly and politkey but NO i can;t do such stuff ...have to point it out ....................... THAT IS A CHARACTER DEFECT IN ME perhaps ...but if popel do not say anything often they get trmapled on ................... i MEAN NOT THAT IT IS inanyway the same thing but we ahve a lot of people to thank for for stanidng up and saying something ................that changes views and chages the world........................................and pmsl yes i do feel like a crimefighter

I hope you get everything sorted with the insurers etc. without anymore ransacking of the house.Nas in the beginning everyone writes very short, to-the-point reviews. i only logged on once and that was when i came across shabs review as it was on the page i was on. Everything looks so detailed and requried adequate time hence i havent got round to it. still dont fully get it either. busy cooking now, so chat later.

Right ....................gone back tot he bloddy police statin. Waited three hours.
the old man form last night was there as was the chinese young boy who said No MOT needed.
the old man goes "oooh it si you agian ..got all your docs"
I sad "do you think I really want to frequest Wandsworth police station again and agian ..by the way there is your collegue who said NO Mot"
He goes " errm anyway shall we get on "
I say "No go and ask him " so he does and the young guy goes NO she does not need it .....the old man goes well it says on the form .. the chinese guy goes so what ..it will be on the system. the man then comes back looks sheepish and goes well i am the officer signing the from and it is needed.
I say No it is not your collegue would have taken it ..so yo ahve just wasted my time ..... he goes mm not necessarily .. you may have got a letter next week saying we require thy MOT .. I said " i doubt it .. and it is not definite is it"....
so so so angry
then all he does is take the forms and then goes .. right thankyou I will pass it on to Mayrlebone Traffic Unit. i say what no recipt . He goes NO .. youwill get a letter say 10 -14 days time.

I am now to fax the compnay conbcered and notify the insurers . On top of that my boiler gives no hot water and i need a pwer flush ..apparent. British Gas have quoted £705 but I have another man doing it for £450. So no hot water .
I coudl scream.
The thing abut the lorry was that at least i saw it and was in the car. What aggravated me was that the way he jsut denied it when i saw and felt the impact. i ahd my headscarf on aswell and my glasses and thought i was some silly little girl in a big car.
yes nasaim it is a BMW X5 ..todl dh not to bloody buy it but he was like nooooo it is your dream car ..................frigging nightmare more like.
sorry to rant ................i need therapy and a psychaitirst .i need to breath calm donw and think poor Norrie's Fil dropped dead in a dentitst waiting room .............breath in breath out .

Hi everyone. Gosh Naz no wonder no cooking/entertaining news from you in awhile, been too busy with crimefighting haven't you?
Hope there's a good outcome for you on your car, sucks that people can get away with things like that. Reminds me of once in SL I was in a car with my friend, her mum was driving and a big bus scraped on the side of the car, jostling us and sending the side mirror flying in the air. It was such a shock, especially as I only then realised what she was capable of. She's usually a soft spoken and mild mannered lady, but the bus driver got out and started intimidating her by shouting at her and saying it's her fault, big crowd gathered around etc. This was in the middle of a very busy road too. She was livid and shouted back at him, didn't back down at his shouting and said she'll be seeing him again once she takes him to court . The man changed tack completely and started pleading with her that he is very poor and has children to feed, that the bus company will sack him etc. etc. Speaking to her very humbly, calling her Madam and so on when earlier he was shouting at her. She just looked scornfully at him and we got in and drove off. Serves the stupid man right.Congrats on the new pregnancies (Ally any news from you?) and everything else. Exciting time for you Sumaiya, hope everything goes well. Shabs nice to hear from you. Can't remember all the posts.

nothing too exciting happening in life really... just tod grps, jewellery making, few ups and downs, fighting for crowns on dooyou ,loads of book reading , shopping and changing the text colour to write on bounty well that about sums it up....

salaams all, ILIIR for secretary's dad, so scary when these things happen, just brings us back down to earth again , so sad.
Re: car , how annoying to say the least i was gritting my teeth as i read that, makes me sick that these people can get away with vandalism and cost innocent people hundreds. Dh had the whole of one side scratched and the wing mirror completelky ripped off a year or so ago (think i mentioned it at the time), it happened at night time, i heard it but it was too late for getting the reg. Didnt realise what had happened til morning so didnt bother with police, but perhaps should have. Dh was quoted almost £1000, which was a rip off, he later got it done by a friend for £300, and that was cos it was a laguna. You've got a Bmw havent u naz, so that'll cost you loads, or will you be claiming on insurance. Someone must have heard something, then again people dont like getting involved do they. Hope it's a good outcome for you.
