I get that, they are always fresh faced little 16/17/18 looking types. Im only 21 but it annoys me, i dont look youthful at all.

i know lol i think he thought he was older than me or something and the way he said it was just really patronising like the way you would say that to a small child. i should have asked him if his parents knew he was out lol. though i guess i should be flattered, there will come a day when it wont happen any more.

that happens to me all the time, i also get told i dont look old enough to have kids, tbh it dont bother me at all.

The look on their faces though is ace, when you tell them that actually you are the parent lol. I've had that happen before, and although it can pee you off, their look of embarrassment when you correct them is so worth it!

PMSL - that happened to me a few weeks ago. An older guy, around 40ish, knocked the door trying to sell Sky TV. He asked 'is your mum there?' when I answered.
I don't know who was more embarrassed, him or me lmao.

That happened to me once and I was really offended at the time. Looking back I guess it was a compliment. It hasn't happened in a long time!!

I would love it if that happened

this is like the 4th time this has happened now. two guys (clearly younger than me) just knocked on the door trying to sell something. i answer the door and was greeted by 'hi are your parents in'. i was like 'i am the parent thankyou'. i know they arent to know but i still find it annoying lol.

ye same sallie. im 19 but i look alot older (well obviously not to everyone) but these guys were like 16 lol.
