Tickergate was last year - bounty changed the whole layout and format of the forums, basically bringing them into the 21st century. But people were putting horrendous flashy tickers (sometimes 5 or 6 of them) as their signatures, it slowed down the running of the site considerably, and they refused to acknowledge it was a problem.
There were also loads of people who had tickers for their menstrual cycle, so we all knew when they had their periods and when they were jumping their OH's bones in ttc. Niiiice and tasteful.
But not everyone agreed, lol.

in your memories of debates what would you say has been the topic which has caused the biggest full blown argument?
Some of the tickers were alright but as usual you always get some people who had to take it to extremes.
Im never ever going to live the terrorist one down.
I started it perfectly innocently then 2 weeks down the line it bumped back up and turned into something it shouldnt have.
