Yah like they are going to pay their taxes.....I can just imagine them charging VAT and pasing that onto the inland revenue (not)

I think legalising it would be ideal, however I also think legalising it and regulating it would be a huge, almost impossible job.

I have a problem with the unprotected sex. But that's all.

just copied this off the BBC
"Brothels in London are offering sex for as little as £15, a report has said.
Some are charging just £10 extra for unprotected intercourse. The report found that 85% of brothels in the city operated in residential areas.
The study was compiled by the Poppy Project in Southwark, which provides education about prostitution and helps victims of sex trafficking.
Researchers posing as potential punters telephoned 921 brothels that had advertised in local newspapers.
They found on average 28 brothels in each of London's 33 boroughs. Together the brothels generated between £50m to £130m a year, the researchers estimated. "
Is it time that prostitution is legalized and regulated?

I think brothels should be registered and pay taxes, as should their employees.. prostitutes that are not employee of brothels should pay tax through the SA system.
It really would not be too much to regulate and the illegal brothels would find it hard to operate if they are using illegal immigrants for example.
They even have legal brothels in America, and if they can manage there, so can we.
