My nearly 6year old dd loves high heels she a has an opbsession with them and I really dont kow where she gets it from because I will wear trainers at my wedding.lol

She has a pair of my mums old ankle boots that she clomps about the house in playing teachers (she loves the sound of the clippety clip on the kitchen floor) But I wouldnt buy her a pair of heels until she is alot older, I dont like them at all.

I don't mind seeing little kids in clippy cloppy heels when they are playing dress up or at parties (obviously it still depends on the TYPE of heels - princess clippy cloppys or mum's shoes are fine, fúck me boots, rubber thigh length stilettos or anything that you'd normally wear either pulling or on the game, not fine).

I have never ever worn heels, they are so uncomfy.

DMs, crocs, Birkies or bare feet. Which is why my feet are 5 miles wide, but hey, it helps me to balance.

I don't like to see little girls looking like mini adults really. There are some very sweet girl's shoes out there with teeny heels on- like half an inch or so - and they look nice, but anything more than that and I'd be really worried about the effect on her back. Chiropracters (they're back doctors, right? I can never remember) already slate adult heeled shoes for causing back and hip problems so I'd really worry about how a little kid's developing body would be affected by wearing high heels.

i hope my little girl will have a bit of style, you can dress trendy and be girly and not look like a slapper,i think short skirts are fine if their worn in the right way,i wouldnt let a little girl wear heels with a minin as it looks cheap,it does on anyone let alone a kids, but heels with skinnies look nice,i hope when i have a daughter i can persuade her not to go for all this crappy pink hannah montana malarkey,i hate it when they get to about 7 and lose all sense of style.

i think if a little girl wants to wear heels then its fine,i wouldnt encourage it as i think its up to them what they wear but i dont see a problem, espescially at 8?i thought you was going to say 3 or something!

the only thing i dont like on kids under a certain age are ear studs, they look common as muck espescially when their babies.

heels on little girls is wrong unless they are dressing up shoes to play in

i nearly always wear heels and never have a problem.  did so when i was pregnant up until the last 2 months but did wear a lower heel than normal.  wear heels so often that when i once wore flat flip flops to work everyone said they had no idea i was so tiny.  love wedges for summer and wore them most of this summer, have quite a few heeled boots.  Only flats i have are ballet shoes and flip flops (pretty ones of course) and western boots (though have a bit of a heel on them) and my trainers are just for the gym

sorry not into uggs adn pointy flat shoes yuk yuk

Chocolateshoes: you are a girl after my own heart, I lurve heels and wear them most days (at work) I'm not one to go shopping or park etc... in them but do wear heels a lot, my mates know what I'm like with heels although they can't understand how I can get away with it without my feet hurting and I like really high heels so they can never understand how I walk in them but like you am just used to it. 104! I haven't got that many, I have a lot but not that many, how do you keep count?

Op girls in high heeled shoes that young is just so wrong! I was at trafic lights and these girls crossed over in heels and short clothes pretending to smoke! You can imagine my face
