THe amount that you depends on the company. Some have a strict only one a day assignment policy, especially when u are just starting out.
Yes you can choose the assignments that you do. Before you accept you are made aware of what they require and the days that are open and if there are any times to avoid and stuff.
Some assignments do require you to buy something. Reimbursement depends on the assingment, as some then want you to return the item to store a bit later so that return policy can also be assessed. Others, such as putting money into your account, you are just paid for the assignment.

ok how long did you wait untill your first assignment and do you have to pay upfront for anything and do they reumberse you?
10/10/08 21:16
Do you get to choose which ones you do and how many?
10/10/08 20:13
Yes I do work for them and a few others. lol.
Sounds harder than it really is. Have been doing it for over 2 years now. In that time have had meals out, free clothes, hair cuts, games, gym trials, travel... To name but a few.
Some are carried out in person, others have involved phone calls and emails. lol.

Well I put the stopwatch on my mobile as i go in so i remember hiow long i was in there, and make a few notes "up the road"£ out of sight if needs be. You can also use a dictatphone or something to record conversations.
Some MS orgs even ask for people with hidden camera equipment so you can film them- others do phone mystery shopping
sorry mdear got to go put babs to bed will be back on later

Read through the job notes after seeing what is in your area so you know exactly what you have to do- it normally involves a fee to "spend" on the product or service then a fee of well £10-20 normally for doing it. You8 have to note time of visit, take a photo, ask certain questions, remember a description of the stadff member, if certain displays are present, whether THEY ask you certain things (like other special offers etc) then note it all down in a detailed questionnaire. They are very hot on correct spelling etc too in teh responses
So you are not going to make a million and are supposed to declare it to the Inland Revenue but is ok for a few extra pennies and some free lunches, eye tests, products etc
sorry was just sorting out my LO

so what do u have to do then and is it good pay??

I do mdear- have had a fair few assignments and they have been pretty good to be honest if you follow the guidelines- loads of pharmacy, phone shops, pubs, bakery/ food outlets and others- easy to follow if sometimes detailed guidelines - you need to enter questionnaire and submit with scanned receipt within 24 hours of visit.
I have joined 2 others but retaileyes is the only only I regularly get jobs with- no probs if not- but I can get a small fee (£2) I think if I refer syou so PM me if you want more info or have any queations.
