lakesides better for your whole xmas shopping, bluewaters better for yourself.

The Trafford centre is enormous. I got sooooooo lost in there the one time I went and haven't dared go back since!

Only ever been to Lakeside once in my life and hated it too many WAG wannabes and chavs.

Much prefer to go up to Colchester or stick to Chelmsford for shopping.

    Never been to bluewater.

id defo say lakeside, it has plenty of shops for yourself and for children as someone said before bluewater hasn't got kiddies shops. i went to bluewater once and i couldnt believe the prices of things, if i were back in romford or lakeside it would of been half the price.

bluewater is good if you have money as its so so pricey but lakeside is good as its reasonable priced and caters for kiddies etc.

    id say lakeside

I prefer lakeside to bluewater for Xmas shopping, like other people have said lakeside is more high street under one roof the retail park outside is great they have a big M&S Outlet, George (asda homewear and clothing), tk Max, Matalan, Next clearance, Ikea, mothercare, toys r us and Argos.

However Bluewater has a lovely Christmas market that has some great stalls, the shops are more up market and designer shops, it does have the disney store and warner bros store, M&S, house of fraser, base boys (I that shop)

I only live 30 minutes from both will probably do both.

i prefer lakeside to bluewater , i find lakeside has a wider range of shops you can get a bargain but also splash out if you want but with bluewater all the shops are so expensive , i only go there if theres something im specifically after , but saying that id rather go to london than either of those esp at christmas its lovely x

I prefer Lakeside for things like Costco, Toys R Us and Debenhams. But Bluewater for anything else.

Bluewater much classier shops! lakeside just standard high street under one roof so if want more than the normal oasis, topshop etc than go to bluewater as more variety depends what you looking for really.

Definately Lakeside - with the retail park outside its great - I live 5 mins from Bluewater but will be xmas shopping at Lakeside - Argos, Woolies, Toys R Us, etc.... Bluewater is ok if you have something particular in mind but can be expensive.

    Have Fun!

Both just off the M25 - one is in Essex and the other right opposite in Kent!
