hey all. littlelady your not the only one, we got our xmas trees out the loft today and turns out dh put it in the loft still decorated! dont know how i didnt know he'd done it but ive not had to do anything, its all done already lol! the other smaller tree is fibre obtic so doesnt need anything doing either. going to chill out on the tinsel round the house this year. it made such a mess last year. anyway.....
sounds like everyones getting organised for xmas. had something i ordered for fil ages ago delivered today. was getting worried about it. thats the last of everything i think.
ellies going through a 'pain in the arse' stage at the mo. she's being very naughty and cheeky. she's not as easy a child as toni but im sure she's not the worst either. jake is lovely as always though. he's so kissable! im sure the amount i kiss him is wrong?!
dh wasnt too bad today. he seems to be feeling better. however now he's cheering up a bit im feeling quite distant from him. not sure how to explain it but i dont think im 'in' love with him anymore. i feel like he's a child and i have to look after him. i can only say what he wants to hear or he'll lose it again. if i dont give him attention he gets the hump and i really really dont want to sleep with him which he keeps pestering me about. i dont think i fancy him anymore either. so many confusing emotions. i dont want to say anything to him for various reasons but mainly im hoping it'll pass and things will get better and i'll start to feel better. he wants to stay over some nights but i really really dont want him too and im trying to think of excuses, i feel really bad though. i heard nelly furtardos new song with jamie callum and it just worded everything perfectly, have any of you heard it? also the script breakeven feels like a bit of an anthem at the mo

Argh! Can't believe you've got your Xmas tree up LittleLady! Eek I can't even think about putting ours up this year, though I will! Sounds like Emily had a good time helping with it though. It's hard to buy little ones under a year old presents cos they're not going to play with them yet are they. Mind you Alex doesn't play with his toys very much! He loves writing and drawing though!
Erm, I can wait a while longer for Emily to be born, dh panicks every time I ring him! Only 5 weeks or so to go now. I want my body back more than anything else.

Hi, just a quick post before I get Leah up for Lunch.
Shelley, you must be longing for her so badly now. I always felt the worst part was having everything ready for baby and just waiting and waiting. Not long now though, and with xmas in between it should go quicker.
Nat, sorry you and dh are going through difficult time again. I hope things are sorted out soon for you both, (((((((((((big hugs)))))))))))).
Emily has said she would like the fisher price digital camera. But she also likes to say "I want that" to everything she sees on tv, so I'm not sure if I'm gonna get it. I've got various things, books, dvds, toys, dressing up stuff, a keyboard, etc from santa. Not sure what were getting her from us yet. Leah has got a baby walker and a few other toys from santa. I think were just gonna put some money in her child trust fund from us.
I have been putting up my xmas tree today. We bought a new one at the weekend and it seemed silly putting in the loft for a week, so I started to put it up last night and me and Emily have been decorating it today.
I am sooooo excited this week and I am wishing the time away. It is my birthday on Sunday and I will be 21. Can't wait to go out next weekend to celebrate, it'll be the first time I have been out for 18 months!!!!
I said this was gonna be quick, lol.

Hi girls,
Eeeeeeeeek I know Nat, anything could happen from now really! It's scary in a way to think I'm going to be a Mum of 2 in the next few weeks! Doesn't seem real but then right up until Alex was placed on me I didn't believe I was going to get my much longed for baby! So strange to feel like that.
Been Xmas shopping today for Alex a few things, got him one of those Vtech Digital Cameras, hope he likes it, he did say he wanted it when he saw it on tv, just like he does with most things really! Got the curtains, lampshade and changing mat for Emily today, we've bought everything in the Hugs & Kisses range at Babies R Us! So pretty. Wardrobe came today and we've ordered the baby chair from Mothercare, so it's just a case of waiting for her now!
Nat, I can't believe how quickly Jake is coming along, he's doing things really quickly, he'll be walking before you know it. I'm glad you love having a little boy. He sounds really clever.
I'm pleased to hear your dh has been much better today. Yes that's a good idea to tell the GP exactly how he is then he can get the right help for it and you two can try and get back to normal. I can't imagine what you're going through but massive (((((((HUGS))))))) and so much good luck coming your way.
Chaz hope the unpacking is still going well and you're loving your new home. How is Finley? Hope you're back with us very soon.
LittleLady hope you and the girls are ok? What are they having for Xmas?

hey all!! omg shelley, its so close, you could be giving birth anytime now if emily wants to be impatient, its so exciting!!!!! it wont be long until she's in a buggy. jake always was, never had a pram because i used the double. moved jake into his 'proper' car seat today! i couldnt get the straps in his baby seat done up properly! his feet (when in his all in one coat) hang over the end. the new seat ive got (well its not that new, it was toni's first) can tilt a bit so he's not bolt up right. he looked petrified being upright and facing forward but he soon fell asleep. obviously my driving isnt that exciting. he's growing up so fast though! he knows his name, can hold toys and play and moves across the floor on his back. love having a boy!
bought a futon earlier. £50 from a local lady. hardly used from ikea, its a double and in cream. its very nice. the babysitter will love it on friday! very pleased.
dh was better today. she started off a bit shaky but after a chat and lots of hugs he seemed to cheer up and he still seems good. i felt like we had a break through earlier. he said he could finally see some of the positives of living by himself and being independant. also we wrote down everything he needs to tell the doc when he sees him on thursday. normally if the doc asks if he's ok he just says yeah. well im not having it this time. i want him to almost shock the doc into helping him. our docs like to brush over things if they can but if dh comes back on thursday with a result im not happy with im ringing the doc and talking to him myself. not carrying on like this and dont want my marriage to end because of it. anyway we've had a better day so lets see how things are tomorrow! im sure dh will be ok, he's going fish shopping in the morning lol!

Chaz glad to hear you have some help and you've got quite a bit done already. It's bloody hard work moving house, so stressful trying to get things sorted. Hope Finley is ok?
Nat, awwww (((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))) to you, you;re having such a rough time with your dh. I really don't know what to say, except it must be really hard on you and the children seeing him in a good mood one minute and then changing so quickly into a bad mood. Has he seen his Doctor? Maybe he needs some different medication?
Well I chose the pram, dh didn't really show much interest at all!!!!!! My Mum & Dad bought it though! Can't really do anything about it now! It's too late. Only 5 1/2 weeks to go!

shelley cant believe you dont like your pram, oh no! did you buy it or did someone buy it for you?
last night was nice, had a nice dinner and dh was happy and all was well. he went to work happy and seemed happy when i text him. then i get home to find he's having a paddy and throwing his remaining clothes and some other stuff in his car. he was in a right mood. i told him to chill or get lost. so he's been here for the evening and he's just left. he wasn't too bad but now he's got a mood on him again. ive got so many different emotions going on at the mo. i want to keep the family together and make him happy again but at the same time he wasn't happy before all this and he's such hard work. i love him and want to be together forever but i also want to tell him to just go away. i can do fine on my own and dont need all this grief. he's so unhappy, i hate it but if its not for one reason its for another. i can promise him the earth but after a while it still wont be enough. he's severely depressed and its just too much for me. i feel so guilty sometimes and like im being selfish but ultimately isnt this my one life?

Nat sounds like you've got a good routine going on. Must be really hard with 3 kids to get ready.
That's rough your dh shaking you like that, hope you have a good night together tonight though.
Chaz hope the move is going well and Finley isn't too unsetlled at first. Have you got plenty of help?
LittleLady did you manage to go Xmas shopping?
Dh put the pram together today, really don't like it though! Infact can;t wait to get a buggy! It will have to do! Looking forward to going Xmas shopping/nursery shopping on Monday with dh.

shelley i hope you got plenty of sleep last night and are feeling a bit more lively. routine wise i get up at 7am and spend half an hour getting myself showered and washed then between half 7 and 8 i get the kids dressed and down stairs and between 8 and half past they all eat breakfast and at 8.30 we load into the car/van and go to playschool. you can do anything as long as you have a routine! lol. you'll be fine, took me a couple of months, until jake was sleeping through so i knew what time he'd wake up before we got sorted but fortunately we figured it all out during the summer hols so when the playschool run started again we were ready.
chaz good luck moving this weekend. keep us updated. hope all goes well and tell your new neighbours to do one!
i went to an ann summers party at my next door neighbours last night and then she came back round mine after and we had a take away together. was really nice. im really tired at the min so didnt fancy clubbing. however we are making up for it next weekend. we're out fri and sat night!! tonight dh and i are staying in and going to try to be happy. we'll see. he was crazy last night. he grabbed me and shook me. was horrible. made me cry. he's apologised and he's on his final warning. i dont do physical. he's pushing me too far at the min.
anyway have a good weekend all!!!

Thanks for the advice LittleLady, I'm sure I'll get a routine going on eventually! It was hard at first with Alex but you soon know what time they wake, eat etc. I agree Chaz, I found it really hard at first with just one! This is my only worry though! Hope you enjoyed the time alone to go shopping, it's always nice eh!
Chaz you do make me laugh (tall boy)! Sorry to hear about your dh having to go to A & E though, sounds nasty.
Neighbours! Take no notice, there's always somebody complaining about someone else, they should just keep their nose out.
I'm ok today thanks, the backache isn't as bad today, it has eased a lot thankfully. I'm so tired though. Can;t wait to get to bed and sleep, hopefully get a bit of a lie in as it's dh weekend off.

crikey sounds like army manuvres! loli have enough trouble with one lol!!!
sorry i missed you all last night! had to pick up finley then dh went a&e!!! he dropped a trunk of wood on his leg and cut it!! ended up with 3 stitches and he has a chipped shin!!! not very good for the move!! lol i'm sure it'll be fine!!
i'm sure i'm winning!! the fire was put in today!!! next door have cause merry hell up saying it can't be lit coz he has a thatched roof and disabled children etc etc!!! what a d*** it was an open fire in there before! the owners said lite it anyhow! i have a feeling he's gunna complain about everything now! idiot! lol!!

oh nat you sound very independent! must be hard to have to reasure him all nite it'll would really pee me off after a while i'm sure!!! i hope it all works out! i take the kids are completely uneffected by these changes anyhow!
finleys chubby faced but thin/long legged too!! his toes are always trying get get through his grows!!! mil said dh was the same!! dh is 6ft 5 anyhow so think we're in for a tall boy!! (not the wardrobe kind!! hahahaha).

Hi, yeah Shelley it is alot harder with two, to start with. But you learn a routine that works out quickest to get out the house. For example, I feed Leah, then get Emily up, then whilst she is eating breakfast I am tidying up etc. Then when she finishes I get them both dressed, get Leah in the car seat, get Em's coat and shoes on. Then I go and get dressed and do make up etc. And hey presto when I come down were ready to go out the door. lol. You will get used to it, I have already got a plan on how to be ready in time for nursery in January, let's hope it works!!!!
I am going SHOPPING today and I'm leaving the girls with my Nan. I can't wait to have a couple hours to MYSELF. I am LOVING xmas shopping atm.

Hi girls, well I'm officially on maternity leave as from Monday! Yippee dippee doo! Feels soooooooooooooooooo good
LittleLady do you mind me asking if you find it hard with 2 little ones to look after? I know it will be much harder obviously than just one. The thing that worries me most is getting them both out of the house so early to get Alex to school every morning!
Nat, awwww Jake sounds lovely. I;ve bought a few sleep suits from Asda and I've found they're much smaller than say Mothercare. I know Mothercare are expensive though, I bought a few from there when they had good offers on. Hope you and your dh get thing sorted, it can't be easy for any of you.
Chaz hope the packing is going well. How is Finley, is he sleeping any better?

Hi girls.
Yep that's what I thought LittleLady, she's probably just moving into position though it's uncomfy this time around! Dh going to fit the car seat base at the weekend just incase!
It's my last working day today - YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! So looking forward to the time off, hope I get a good month or so before labour starts though!

hi all. shelley how exciting, it may be sooner rather than later!!! cant wait! emily is a lovely name and emily louise go really well too, very pretty.
chaz gunna miss you. moving is always a nightmare but im sure it'll go well. ive got a citreon synergie which is basically a van with seats, 7 of them!! you can take every single one out apart from the drivers seat so it is massive! i love it. it has slidy van doors and the gear stick is on the dashboard. if we ever moved we'd get everything in in one go im sure! if i was closer id give you a hand.
jake doesnt look big although he is very heavy to hold. he's long and slim with very chubby cheeks. its his legs that are so long, thats why i keep having to get bigger sleepsuits. the girls were much daintier and smaller. i like that as a boy he's built well. i kinda feel like as he's a boy he should be bigger and stronger iykwim.
dh and i had a strange evening tonight. he started saying he's moving back in in january and i was ike we hadnt put a date on things and were just seeing how his job and money went. he got the hump and i had to try and make him feel better all night. the conversation keep going in the wrong direction and he'd get the hump. he's doing my head in. i cant help that im not bothered about living on my own. its not much different to him living here as he's here every evening with the kids. ive been single before when i was having toni. i loved it. im an only child. its natural to me to be on my own and i find it strange living with someone! and i sure as hell cant be doing with a needy pain in the back side!!!!! bloody men.........

Hi Shelley, what your describing sounds exactly like what I had with Leah. I was up all night cuz I was certain it was labour (although, at points it was agonising) and nothing happened. The mw thought it was probably the baby moving down into position, but then she went and came a week late, little bugger. So, maybe your lo is getting herself ready for the big day!!??
Chaz, I can't imagine having to pack up all our stuff to move house, I don't know what I would do with any of it!!! Yeah, make sure you keep tabs on where you put your baby stuff, lol. You'll do what I did, moved in and decided straight away to have another one!!!??? Now I look back sometimes and think WHY???? lol.

LittleLady good to hear from you, oh I had forgot your dd is Emily as well! Lovely name, really pretty. Sorry to hear you all have colds though, there are so many things going around aren't there! Wow Leah is trying to roll over already. These babies seem to be progressing so quickly.
Chaz, oh poor you with the car, hope you get it sorted. It will be easier to get things done tomorrow if your mil is looking after Finley. Yep get those baby things packed up for the next baby! You never know when you'll need them!
I thought I was going into labour this morning, I was having some pains but the baby must have been laid on a nerve or something. I'm feeling a bit uncomfy down below, so you never know! Had some lower back aches on and off and more cm. Not long now. I think I'm more scared than excited!

Sorry to hear Ellie is being a pain for you, they can drive you mad at times. Alex tries it on every morning getting ready for school! Then we end up running late and having to rush and being the last one there!
Awwww sorry to hear about how you're feeling about your dh. I can understand you don't want to say the things he just wants to hear because that's not being normal is it and just tip toing round him to keep him happy. Hope everything works out for you though.
I think my body is having a good clear out today! Maybe it's a sign eh? Dh put the Nursery curtains and lampshade up today and started building the wardrobe. It's looking lovely now. Emily keeps getting hiccups especially at night! Dh thinks it's cute!
