Thank you all so much for your comments. I have spoken to HR about the situations and he was really helpful and completely sided with me. He has given me some info to look over before i decide what to do. I just don't know if i'm strong enough????

I'll keep you updated, thanks again girls.

Tell your line manager to sit and swivel. He is obviously jealous because he never works hard enough to get treated like this. even tho he is a line manager himself! go for the meal, have fun (especially if the other guy is not there) and prove to them that you are what hey think and more!! (a good worker) Two against one is much better odds in your favour..

This is horrible, and sounds a little like where my husband works-hes not allowed to take 'emergency days off' if he does then he will loose is bonus! so when i go into labour, as he will have to leave without notice, he will loose his bonus! Yet another person that workd in his dept asked for the afternoon off and asked if it would affect their bonus and was told no! double standard! I aggree with the last post (sorry forgot your name-hormones!) just do what you job title says, you don't have to do anymore than that-what are they gonna do-sack you? i think not! and if i were you, id consider whether you really want to go back to that job after your maternity. Why work somewhere your not appreciated? especially when your going the extra mile and pg. Lifes too short. hold out for what your entiyled too then ditch em!! x

Sorry you're feeling like this hun. If you're boss wants to be an ar$e then give him some of his own medicine. Just do the job that you are paid to do, if he complains then just point out that this is your job. There is nothing that he can do about it as your duties should be in your contract x

    Hi ladies,

I'm so stressed out over my work at the moment i just don't know what to do. My boss is being a complete pig and i have had enough. I do 3 jobs where i am and only get paid for 1 of them. It seems like my team has double standards and the managers should be leading by example. They have the cheek to pull my to one side about having a last minute day off (holiday) because i felt awful and hadn't slept, i was being honest yet was told off for it and asked not to do it again. Yet when one the others want to take a day off last minute nothing is ever said to them.

Then when 2 of the dircetors want to treat me to lunch to say thanks for the other jobs i've been doing my line manager (who is also a director) gets the hump and goes into one about it, saying that its sleazy and amatuer!!!!! I'm sooo mad i just want to leave right now...

    What should i do????
