    i have also never heard this either i think she just winding u up hunni the number and stuff on the scan pic is normally the scan machine settings and how big ur bubs is x

    I have never heard of this and wouldn't imagine that it would be possible, don't know for sure but doesn't sound like it to me.

    NO!  Thats not true!  They honestly can't always tell what it is anyway.. she's winding you up.  For an even more certain answer you should post this thread in 'general pregnancy' as I know there are a few sonographers that go on there

    Hello We had our 21 week scan yesterday and it was amazing but we didnt find out what we was having.... We showed my sister inlaw and she says she knows what it is and that the info on whether it is a boy or girl is in the coding on the scan photo.... Is this true? does she really know what we are having before us? I cant seem to find any information on what it all means... X
