that would be great if you don't mind, we'll look like sales women!!!!!

nick is going to do you head in if he is stuck at home for 6 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

a friend of mine was telling me yesterday that her husband was driving to work through hook and saw a little boy on his own, he rang my friend and said i've just seen sam wandering around the park, obviously my friend was like are you sure, anyway she came out and drove to this park and sure enough there was sam all on his own, he has only just started at hook infants and he was 4 in august, when she took him back to school (sams mum) he hadn't even been noticed as missing, he had walked across the A30 to the park then all the way home and back cause when asked where were you going he said to see mummy but she wasn't in. i would have been livid

The only photo place I know is in Brighton sorry!  My sis had a session at the venture one and ended up spending a fortune.  Maybe try the yellow pages and get some quotes, or try googling basingstoke photography at least websites should show you some examples.

With regards to thenappies I would be happy to bring some to show you on friday?  I have a few different types so you could get some idea of what they are like rather than just looking at pictures on the internet or in packets in mothercare.  Let me know, I can dig them out of the kids wardrobe no problem.

Nick has been signed of work for two weeks as he has RSI in his arm so he will be driving me mad all day GGGRRR!  Have emailed a friend who had it, she was off for about 6wks and needed physio and all sorts, so have asked her for some advice.  If he needs physio think will pay for it privatley as the hospital apps are awkward enough for me let alone someone working full time!

god i dont mind you plugging them, just haven't looked into them that much but i am all for saving money, i just have visons of the terry ones being like the cartoon strips with the big pin at the front!!!!!

do you know any good photography studios? i am trying to arange a photo session for steve's (and my ) family, we want a photo of all 11 of us for his dads 60th birthday, been in town this morning and venture are there but it costs £25 to get a £145 voucher which you think yeah thats great but all it gets you is a "7 x 5" photo which is crap. we wanted something that meant we could all havea copy

Real nappies re great!  I used flat terry squares with plastic pants for Pippa and Dan and my sis also uses them for Frances.  Once you know how to fold them they are easy peasy no pins use something called nappy nippas which my granny loves and wishes they had had when she had kids lol!  I am buying some shaped ones for when this baby is small and they have a good resale value.  You can buy some that will do from birth to potty or just use muslin squares when they are tiny (this is what I used for Dan)

My outlay for the terry squares etc was about £50 per child and did from 3mths until potty trained, and I had muslins for mopping when they were small anyway. I have always used disposibles for nights but want to try to get some boosters so feel like I can use cloth ones all the time this time.  The wraps can cost a bit and have tryed them in the past but to be honest have never really liked any of them except a lovely fleece one I got for Dan towards the end but they are pricey!

Anyway enough of my plugging cloth nappies, if you are happy with disposibles keep with them!  I didnt use terries for environmental issues totally was just looking to keep costs dawn (same with breastfeeding) I am just very very tight!

GGGRRRR at work, I had the same reaction as I have 4wks holiday to take so wanted to book the whole of dec off and then take my maternity leave from xmas week and was told oh no one can have holiday in dec!  Well tough!  Anyway have decided will prob work until around 15th dec and then take my 4wks hol and so leave shouldnt kick in until mid jan which means I get paid until mid oct and then will have 5wks hol to take before the next april so will tack on 3wks to go back mid-end nov once baby is around 9mths!

Looking forward to seeing you on fri xx

i've thought about real nappies but all i hear is they grow so quickly that you are forever buying the next size up.

As for coats i had a look on ebay and there wasn't much on there at all, have you got one yet?

Back to work yesterday, it was quite good actually theres a new girl now so i'm no longer the newby which also means i don't mind telling her what to do, i've hated it cause everyone has been there longer and it never seems right to dictate as such when they knoww more than you.

spoke to them about maternity leave as, matthews nursery shuts from 23rd dec til 2nd jan and we are not allowed to take time off over xmas and new year!!!!!! so i went to my manager and said ok heres how it is either you let me take 4 days holiday over xmas and new year ( thats all i need) and i can work til end of january or i have to leave on the 22nd dec. so his reply was well you'll have to leave then!!!!!! he wasn't being nasty just said that he had no choice and me leaving meant he could get someone else in, steve thinks its bull and they are just being awkward.

i have worked out that the 9 months i'm off i accrue around 13 days holiday so my plan is to go on leave on the 22nd, take my 4 days hol then take another 13 which should take me to the end of january and go on official leave from the beginning of feb.

matthew gets government fnding from january, not 100% sure how it works my friend has explained it to me but i'm not sure i want him to go 5 mornings i'd rather he went for say 2.5 days need to read up on it.

It had to be the post office at the top of town as the parcel was so big, no where else would take it and the one at Brighton Hill has closed.

I was thinking the NCT sale would be rammed but would like to look for nappies.  I got outbid on a coat AGAIN so am watching one more and will make a decision after that, may have to bite the bullet and buy one full price!

Have just been to mothercare to look for boots for Pippa, because Dan has a smart pair that my mum got him so she wanted a pair as well!  Anyway were trying on the size 9's and they seemed tight so went and got her feet measured and she has gone up a whole size in 4 weeks!  So the school shoes she has worn for a whole 3weeks are to bloody small!  So splashed out another £30 on a new pair but luckily she could get the yo toy ones so they have toys in the heels which is what she wanted last time.  But now Dan is sulking because he wants some like that.  Also got her some knee length boots in a size 10 that cost £17 and a new blankie, but that was only £5 so can get rid of one of her older ones.

So rather a costly trip!  On the plus side got the money back for the shoes from my mum who will take it out of Pippas account.

i presume you mean the post office at the top of town? i NEVER go in there its always a bloody nightmare and sooooooooo hot.

the carnival was great matthew loved it.

as for jonothan (i can't even spell it!!!) the other option going on the table is William. so we will have to see, in fact william was my idea, trouble is it just doesn't make me jump for joy iyswim.

i was thinking of going to the nct sale, i went with my neighbour at the beginning of the year and it was a nightmare to get in, and once you did it was SO crowded i just couldn't be bothered, altohugh i wasn't prenant and didn't need anything, i just don't know whether its really worth the hassle, its maternity stuff i need,i didn't buy much with matthew as i'm tight but this time i'd like a few nice bits especially as we don't need any baby stuff but even so its not exactly cheap kitting out your wardrobe for about 4 motnhs.

i've been wondering what to do about a coat, i was thinking of just going to primark and getting one of theres a couple of sizes bigger, i don't think i ever have a chance on ebay they'd be snapped up so quickly.

    CONGRATS ON YOUR BLUE BUMP!!!!

So is it to be Jonathan, will you back down.  If you really like Daniel keep on at Steve, or just bring it up once you have done all the hard work lol!  I dare him to disagree!!!  Or maybe for a middle name?  Although if you are anything like me you will  have gone off all your names now and have to start again from scratch.

Oh well if this bump turns out to be a boy (which I think it is, put it this way if it is a girl it will be a HUGE shock!) they will have playmates from an early age!

Have fun at the carnival, I am off to bid on nappies on ebay AGAIN!  I keep getting outbid on bloody maternity coats though!

There is a NCT nearly new sale on the 18th Oct at BCOT 2.15pm.  I am now a member of the NCT so getting the newsletter!  I managed to pay for a course that should have been £99 inc a years membership for £21!  Oh the joys of Nick not working a lot last year we are classed as poor as earnt below £15000 last year.  Hurrah!  More money to spend on nappies and really cute wraps lol!

have you sorted  your buggy out?

well we had our scan, matthew was totally disinterested but very good, we're having another boy which was really predictable.

we're now at my parents for the weekend which is nice although its not much of a break for steve as he is breaking up a concrete patio for them with one of those kanga thingys.

off to a carnival in shaftesbury tonight which should be good and its not too late for matthew.

thats so annoying, but if you have it on your credit card statement you should be fine and the shop will have a record of it, especially as you haven't even had a baby to put in it yet.

i'm off to the dentist, i absolutely hate and dread it and i really can not stand my dentist, i would love to change but how the hell do you explain that you just don't like them, she doesn't have that "put you at ease" feeling.

my friend emailed me and told me that apparently i am on the board as employee of the week/month (she can't remember) i had my appraisal last week and lets just say i was very honest about training and the way i have been treated by certain managers.

its all a bit pathetic seeing as i am on holiday this week so can't see it. my friend seems to think its just a way of buttering me up a bit, or does it just mean i am in for a rough ride next week, we will see!!!!!

A comftably full bladder!  If there is such a thing!  Mine wasnt full on the friday morn and could see baby fine (Just not its bottom lol!)

I am very peed off at the mo.  I got my car seat from e bay all ok and got the chassis of my buggy out and one of the plastic joints is broken.  It is still all ok but feel it wont last as long as I would like it too and also may not be able to sell it on after use.  So I got the guarentee out and need to return it to the shop but cant find the bloody receipt!  Stupid caw that I am threw it out!  So I have e mailed the shop and hopefully they should be able to provide a copy.  I have a credit card statement showing purchase so may have to use that if need be.  Am just ammoyed that I didnt notice it before.  I've only had it up a few times and cant find the bit so have no idea when it broke off.  If they cant fix it will have to take it to see my dad I am sure he can do something with it but its not the point it is a month old and been up maybe 4 times!

will give the job centre a ring later on am off to a toddler group and Dan should be geting his photos done and then we have swimming and then he has toddler group and then I have physio!  Busy busy day.

Ok what no do you need to call really need to get this sorted!  Sould get my matb1 next week when see the midwife.

So I take it you are finding out the sex!  I did a chinese predictor that said girl but when I did it again for Pippa and Dan it said Pippa should have been a boy and Dan a girl!

I am still convinced it is going to be a lazy boy!  If it ends up as cute as Dan wont mind!  He is either being awful or incredibly loving this week.  So I am either screaming at him to do as he is told or he is sitting on my lap saying how I am his best friend and he loves me so much and that I am very very cool!  Bless.

Anyway off to open the car seat I bought from ebay to go with my buggy hope it fits!

wow sounds like you had great fun i'm really jealous i want to go rock pooling with matthew just whenever we have good weather we're at work sods law.

i get good kicks now but mine have all been on the left.

i've done loads of these gender prediction things (don't worru i'm not a pyscho that belives it all) they all say a girl and weirdly they all said a boy last time, so in 3 days we'll know!!!!!!!

we've got a week off this week, matthew is going to nursery as usual so steve and i get some time together, yesterday we dropped him off bought a couple of papers came home and had a full english sat down and slobbed with a cup of tea and the paper, something we can never do normally.

i found the job centre yesterday, only to find i couldn't pick the forms up there i had to ring an o8oo number and they are sending them out to me..

Sorry not been on have been to portland this weekend to stay with my cousin.  Her boys are nearly 6 and just 4 (the second one is exactly a year older than Dan!)  Pippa and Zac (the 4yr old) got on really well and Dan idolised Cody (the older boy) and kept following him about! It was so cute.  They have a beach hut so we went down to that on Sat afternoon and although it was very windy they were fishing in rock pools and playing football and tennis.

So def on for Fri 3rd then?  Am looking forward to it.  Cant believe matthew still sleeps in the day, Dan dropped that last summer!  He will normally drop off in the car if we are travelling and if we go to pick Nick up from work he sometimes drops off for 10 mins if he has been active.

Been feeling lots of movement in the last week.  Weird gone from nothing to proper little kicks.  Didnt have any flutterings really.  Most of the movement is on the right hand side and I only get them in the early morn or late eve, far too busy at all other times to notice!
