Poor you at work! Sounds like a complete over the top reaction.
With regards to the Britax, I liked the look of it straight away but hadnt said anything as neither mothercare or toys R us stocked them and didnt want to make a decision until i had seen it. It is basically thw same as the my3 but I feel it is a bit better made. I had a britax travel system for Pippa and loved it very robust, it did Dan and my neice Frances before the fornt wheels gave in lol! After playing with it at the shop in camberly have def decided to go for it and with the prices on ebay can def afford it!
Been to jj's this morn and it was rammed! Think it is def because of the weather and a couple of parties. I am lucky because Pippa and Dan play together but my friends little boy kept wanted his dad to go in with him. My friend is due her second baby in 3 wks and she has a perfect bump!
My bump is coming along. I still havent put any weight on yey, but none of my trousers fit any more, had to pull out a pair of maternity trackie bottoms today, but all of the other maternity trousers I have are way to big am def in that in between stage.

omg thats awful bless her, how is she today? thankfully i haven't had much in the way of traumas with matthew. he had an operation at 4 weeks for pyloric stenosis but i don't really count that as he was too young to understand. i'm crap with anything gory or bloody so i am dreading the day.
since when did you want a britax? you never mentioned it or is this another one you've changed your mind on.
i'm off to work in a bit, dreading it today as i got a written b******ing on monday and i think it was totally uncalled for.
on thursday the manager left and one of the pregnant girls sat down where she shouldn't ok so i should have said get up and get a chair but for whatever reason i didn. anyway the manager came back and went mad. on monday i get called into the office by the deputy and shown something called a record of conversation that eugene had written. i told her why on earth couldn't he have spoken to me about this like adults rather than put it in writing. i'm livid

Ok an update on my pram saga! Well on mon I bribed my mum to drive me and the kids to camberly to look in the pram shop there as wanted to look at the Britax Vigour 3+ myself. Well I loved it and because you can buy all the bits seperatly can get it without the car seat. So been looking on ebay and I can buy it new for £70 less AND there is a second hand carrycot in red on there I am watching which I am hoping to get for half price. So may end up getting it now, but where will I store it, oh my mums loft?
Mum had also got all my baby clothes out of the loft and I have bought the newborn and 0-3mths home, oh so small and cute! think I will get a few bundles of girls and boys stuff off freecycle and then just bung the colour I dont need back on after the birth. (I say me my sis is a freecycle addict I think I will get her to sort it for me!)
Anyway now I come to our drama that occured on mon, and involved a trip to a&e! After we had been to the shop in camberly we went back to the multistory car park and my mum warned Pippa not to runn out so she turned back around and put her hand on the very large fire door bhich then trapped her thumb! OMG! If I could have swapped places with her I would have. She screamed for two hours straight. Most of the way back in the car before she fell asleep and then at home even after nurofen, then she started to shake and go into shock. Her thumb was black (she caught it just across the bottom of the nail) and crooked so I decided to take her to a&e. Because my mum was busy in the afternoon I had to take Dan as well!
So 3 hrs in a&e she had to be weighed so they could give her more painkillers (she stopped crying when we got there but was very clingy and quiet) had to have 3 xrays (and of course I couldnt sit with her because of being pg) and the final decision was she has a squashed bone! It was really obv from the x rays, but wasnt broken. Doc said if she had been an adult it would have broked but kids have a bit more flex and it should regain shape in a few days! I had promised her the docs would put a plaster on it but they were like no leave it be, but she is only happy if she has a plaster on!
Last night she was understandably upset at going to bed so we had her downstairs on the sofa and she fell asleep quite quick, think Dan missed her though as when we took her up at around 10 he had all the soft toys in the entire room on his bed, could barely see him lol!
She is alot better today so hopefully it will mend quite quick! Am meeting friends at JJ's tom so that will be a test!

i'm sick of this bloody weather!!!!, i thought nope i won't do washing this morning as it will rain, but no it didn't so thought ok so i will do some, got as far as putting matthews new duvet cover on the line and it blinking well peed down.
would you not consider ebay for the pram? i must admit it is a lot of money new.
still haven't told work i won't see my boss now til monday so i'll wait til then.
matthew started his new nursery on monday and loved it, he didn't want to come home.

Ok so weather looked good, got all the way to Eastrop park and it rained! Typical. Then once We got back to Festival Place the sun came back out!
Went to mothercare yesterday to show Nick the pram i want. He liked it but was just no it is too expensive! So i think I will see if mil will pay half and then ask for money for xmas and buy it in the Jan sales. Sod him, if I dont ask him for any money for it he cant complain! Also it will be me pushing the bloody thing most of the time anyway Grrrr!
Me and Pippa should have been camping at the weekend, rather glad we didnt go, to cold and wet! She was a bit upset but we will get to go before she starts school (hopefully!)
Anyway better go no one is dressed and it is nearly 10.30!

Well pg insomnia bad again waking three times a night lol! Pippa came in last night at about 4am because she couldnt find her blankie, and Dan was awake too with his coughing so thats not helping at all. My back was bad yesterday as well! Its never ending lol!
Met up with some friends yesterday, known them since college and one is moving to Malta so a sort of goodbye send off thing. Oh well free holidays!
The weather has finally perked up today so feel i should be doing something outside with the kids, but not sure I have the energy.

i've got the m+p pliko pramette and will just use that again, i find having to handles a great plus as so much easier for hanging shooping on and i've got quite good at pushing it one handed.
i might get it serviced though, you can pay £50 and get all the brakes checked and new wheels etc, need to work out how to clean the fabric though.
would love to meet a jj's, i work mon,wed and thurs, generally fridays are best for me as we have swimming on a tuesday

Am so pleased to here that everything is fine.
Am glad you said that about the lunar. To be honest me and my sis went and looked at them on tues and I didnt like the look of the wheels! But I liked the colour! The my3 just has clips on the side and was so easy to use. Hmmm not sure I can be bothered with straps and stuff!
I liked a lot of the silver cross ones BUT they all have two handles. How can I push with one hand and hold onto Dan? I would be going round in circles. Argggg it is so confusing. Maybe I should just keep the phil and teds and make my sis spend her money. No I really want the my3!!!! On it being bulky it weighs less than my britax travel system did and the phil and teds weighs a lot but is so easy to push.
Ok I have talked myself into it. I think I might get it on the nursery plan and then ask for money for xmas. Or I could get the money together and then buy it in the jan sales. Oh the planning that goes on.
Glad your due date is still the same week as mine. Infact you are due the same day as one of the mums from pippa and dans playgroup. We are off to visit her today, she had her scan on mon.
Speak soon and must meet up at some point. Maybe do jj's or something.

i'v been to the docs today and gotthe good ole lactulose and gaviscon!!!!
the luna buggy is horrible in my opinion its a cheap mans buggy (really not meaning to offend) i've played with it at work and i really don't like it, the carry cot is such a faff to get on and off, it doesn't just click into place you have to use straps to put it on, and in my mind it doesn't look very safe. oh and if you want to use a car seat with it you have to buy the adaptors seperately and attatch them on.
my friends have the my3 and love it looks a bit bulky though.
i am so scared today, i find it really weird that your letter says you need a full bladder and mine doesn't. def think i will go with full and ask when i get there and maybe take some water with me. in the epu they have those water tank thingies.

Apologies for the time of the post bloody bladder! i am also constipated am off to the docs tonight. I have saved up my ailments! So I need lactulose, one of my ears syringing and to be refered for physio!

ok sorry not been on, hope you read this before your scan! I had a scan years ago and needed a full bladder in order to see the womb, but had no baby in it, had to go out twice to drink more! So at my first scan with Pippa I went with a very full bladder, which the lady commented on! Very very uncomftable. So didnt really bother with Dan.
This time it said in the scan letter to drink a pint of water an hour before, which I sort of managed, but was shocked there was no water available in the waiting area!
Have been looking at pushchairs today in mothercare, really love the mothercare m3 but can I justify £400! We have a phil and teds that i shall be lending to my sister so I can have anew one! Nick sisnt seem too happy but am hoping to sweet talk in laws into it! Couldnt get over the prices though, when we got the britax travel system with Pippa it was about £220! th problem is I want a carry cot that comes off this time and they do seem to be pricy, am also looking at the mamas and papas luna as I read that can come with a seperate carry cot. Annoyingly dont really need the car seat and all the packages in mothercare come with it included. The my3 one includes one that costs nearly £100 seperate, I asked if I could get it without but apparently not!
I also bought my first newborn outfit. Pippa helped me choose it, she kept saying 'she' will like this one mummy, she is going to get a shock if it is a boy!

i'm confused and am hoping you can help me.
when i got my letter for tomorrows scan it said i didn't need a full bladder, is this right cause when i had matthew i needed to, don't wanna be going and being told i have to have a blinking internal cause i haven't drunk enough

OMG poor you theres nothing worse than back ache and whats more the kids are off and you can't relax!!!!!
yep 12+3 today scan on tuesday at 15.40 dreading it and excited at the same time.
i think steve will be glads when its over then maybe i will stop being a pessimist and start enjoying it.
am at my parents this weekend matthew loves it here as there is so much room, they have about half an acre in the middle of no where.
the main thing i am suffering with is constipation, i'm having to take senokat for it now, its giving me such tummy ache, still feel sick in the morning but never been sick which i am glad about.
i would love to meet up and definately we will sort it after tuesday.

Well posting at a rediculous hour again!! Been up since 5.30. Was in work last night, felt very bad and when I got home I had a bath to ease my back, then about half an hour later threw up! Am barely eating at the moment as the pain in my back is so severe, am getting seriously annoyed with it now, its been going on three years and has never been sorted since I had Dan. I am seeing the chiropractor again on mon eve, but I dont think work is helping. However no way I can afford to be off sick as dont qualify for sick pay so if I dont work we dont eat!
I think I will go to the docs this week about it and see if they will refer me back to the physio, just during the pregnancy and I have been reading about these injections you can get but as they are steriods dont think I will be able to have them while pregnant. I think I havent been complaining enough to the docs, which is such a 'mum' thing to do, but I think I have battled on, on my own long enough, thats it I will be going every week until something is sorted! The problem is it tends to flare up and then settle down for a couple of months, just when I think oh I havent had any pain for a while it gets bad again, but I cannot pin point anything specific, although driving def makes it worse!
Anyway moan over, how are you doing? Yey you have got to 12weeks! Is your scan in a couple of days? Once you have had it we should organise a meet (if you want) it would be good to put a face to a name.

Well not a lot else going on hear either! My sis has just dropped off a whole load of stuff that she borrowed last time so will have to get them in the loft.
The kids are driving me nuts being off. Am trying to keep them entertained.
My back is very very sore so everything far too much hard work.

oh i'm so glad the scan went well, i am getting more and more nervous as mine gets closer.
the trip wasn't too bad but matthew and her eldest just antagonised each other all the way up but slept on the way back.
it was a bit too far to go really we only spent 3.5 hours there.

I am sure you will have a great time in Banbury. Well the scan was nice and straight forward only one baby got some nice piccies. Think baby was asleep though not moving about much! Pippa was so excited apparently she told my mum i had gone to the doctors! But my mum was completly shocked, really not expecting it.
Been to see the chiropractor today, made an emergency app yesterday, wasnt due back until mon but just couldnt wait in far to much pain. Def feeling a bit better now so worth it. going again on monday so hopefully should be feeling a whole lot better by next week.

we're off to banbury today, my friend and her 2 boys and matthew, a friend of ours who we used to work with has moved up there, i'm kind of dreading it, its a long way to go for lunch AND with 3 boys in the back (she has a zsara)
just been looking at your britax buggy, it is very like the my3 very trendy and with it, its also similar to one of ours called the skate.
heres a question for you, i put a thread on about it, do you think i am mad to want the birth video'd????????
off to work again today, absolutely nothing was said yesterday infact he has changed my wednesday shift to make it easier for me to pick matthew up from nursery - WEIRD!!!!!
i don't really feel pregnant at all i suppose i have a podge but thats all you can call it, i definately don't feel inclined to tell work yet.
jj's must have been soooooooooooooooo hot it is at hte best of time =s but if it was heaving as well.
right i am sitting here with nothing but undies on, i am supposed to be doing housework before work and this really isn't getting it done.
