I had my scan on Monday, wow what a great experience..... My baby kept moving around so it took them an hour to get a good picture.  I went and saw the midwife, they just asked about my family history and if you have any questions. I now dont see the midwife until December! Instead I have to see my doctor is anyone else doing this. I just think it is strange that I will only see the midwife twice during my pregnancy.

This is my 1st so I havent a clue what happens, I have my 1st midwife app next thurs n i dont no what they do??

where i live, they only do a nuchal if you r at risk......i am due to previous ntd.

the test here is done between 13 and 15 weeks gest.

and u have the triple blood..but they only let people have the scan and blood test if at risk....everyone else has to go private for it if they want it.

they dont look at the 12 week dating scan....they say thats what it says....to check dates and viability (hb)

not all NHS services offer the nuchal fold scan - they didn't do this at my scan either, but they did put on my notes 'no gross fetal anomoly seen' so I took that as being good news.  They offer the triple blood test which would be done at my midwife appt today but I am not having it as we don't want amnio or cvs so the results wouldn't mean anything - it won't change how we feel about our baby or having him/her. xxx

Not all places do nuchal fold measurements i dont think i get that done either! If the had noticed anything im sure they would have told you hun try not to worry xx

..... they didnt do measurements of the back of the neck.

Only measurements on the form are crl 6.1mm, should I be worried??
