    Hi,

Since I have been pregnant, I have bleached and dyed my own hair and eyebrows with supermarket dyes and also had foils done at the hairdressers, have also used sunbeds and had a full bikini wax all which I have heard you shouldnt do. I got so sick of reading contradicting advice in different books that I decided to be sensible but anything in moderation after I was 12 weeks.

Hi, my friend is a hairdresser and she dyes my hair all the time when I'm pregnant.  She says it's fine as long as you use a lower % strength of tint on it x

hello, i have had a all over head of bleach done 3 times since i have been pregnant, (17 weeks pregnent) i have spoken to my midwife and hairdresser and said that it is fine, my hairdresser said the reason why you should have it done is that your hair is different at the moment because of your homones so it might not take well or go the wrong colour,

Am kind of thinking I need to get my hair done as apart from looking a bit like a burst matress, I have really bad grey roots! I thought about buying dye and doing it myself but thing is, I get about half way across my head and think oh help! Can't be bothered with this its too hard. And have to keep going! Arms get really sore as my hair is below shoulder length.

Apparently it is relatively safe afer 12 weeks, or so others have said in the past.

Ask your hairdresser for advice. I'm planning on checking with her when I get mine done next, but as am a bit skint at the moment, that could eb a while!

you can have highlights as the bleach doens't touch the scalp. I dont think they recommend a permant dye when pregnant, but not sure about the wah in or semi prem, try calling a loacl hair dresser and say that you are thinking about getting your hair done, then they should be able to advise. I have my hair highlighted!!!

Ladies, sorry if this has already been a thread.

I really want to dye my hair. I bought some hair dye at the weekend without giving it a thought. It wasnt until i got home that i thought maybe it wasnt such a good idea. Im getting so bored with my hair, im growing out a dodgy bob and i just fancy a change. Can any one help with the dye situation. Can i use it or should i leave it. Cheers xxxxx
