I'm going for my scan tomorrow - so i'm going to ask, Will hopefully be able to tell me. I'm too impatient to wait 40 weeks!! plus all those january sales..........

We have decided to keep it as a suprise. The suspence is killing me but was a suprise finding out i was pregnant so be good to get handed baby at the end of labour and be told then. I'm quite old fashioned i suppose

Thanks for th replies, feel better about it being such a big difference to me, boy or girl. I'm very happy just to be having a baby at all and now my OH is totally outnumbered as the cat and dog are girls too!!

Hi my dh has a dd age 23 and ds21 and ds14 from last marriage i have dd 10 from previous and we have a dd 2 together we also lost twin boys i would love to have a boy this time and ive convinced myself that it is we wasnt going to find out but ive changed my mind just in case it is a girl im not saying id be dissapionted if it is as id be happy wat ever the sex the main thing is that everything is ok i just want to go shopping for pink or blue lol got to wait till 6th oct tho

God im so dense iv just been sat here for ages waiting for the rest of the posts to appear then read the last one and realized summat had gone funny! I would really like to find out at my 20 wk scan i dont mind either way but everyone else in my house does! My eldest ds and dh want a boy, dd and yougest ds want a girl!! I was surprised at youngest ds wanting a sister but he said he doesnt want to share his room with a baby which he would be doing if it was a boy lol

u have just made me laugh abbiesbump. i though something was wrong with my computer or i was going mad. my husbands sister got told she was having a boy and brought all blue just to have a girl. she sent her bf on a sopping trip for pink before they left the hospital. all my fmily apart from 1 thinks its a boy. only have until the 7th oct to hopefully find out

heya i cant wait to find out the sex!!! im 15+6 (hospital makes me 15+2) ive got my 20 week scan on the 14th october. my partner friends and family are convinced im having a girl (no idea why) im not sure and im really not bothered as long as bubs in healthy. even after my 20 week scan im not buying any pink or blue. my auntie got told she was having a girl 95% and she had a boy!!!! ill stick to neutral lol. xxxxx

i agree u r so lucky to have a scan a month. i had my 12 week scan end of july and 20 week scan is 7th oct. seems like ages away. im convinced its a boy. thats what hubby wants so i am getting used to that as would love a girl secretley. i think the difference is huge. some people dont mind what they have and i really would be happy as long as its healthy, and others only want one sex. my friend cant stand girls and only wanted boys. she said she couldnt find out the sex incase it was a girl coz she would be devastated!  luckily she had two boys xx

omg, one scan a month - how lucky!  I've just come back from my 12 wks scan @ 14+4wks!  We did ask for sex but they told us they couldn't tell until 20 wk s :-(.   I know wot you mean about pink or blue, I have a ds 15 months and would dearly love pink this time around,  what woman wouldn't want a daughter....although I'm convinced I'm having blue again thats why I want to find out the sex to have time to get used to the idea - to be honest though as long as baby healthy thats the most important factor as I feel blessed to be able to have children.

I live in France and it seems I have one scan a month, which is great as I get to see bubs and see everythings ok.
But I'm only 15+5 and I thought I would'nt know sex of baby til next month at least. Just had another scan today though and she told me she's 90% sure it's a ....... girl!
I'm in shock. I'd convinced myself it was a boy, don't know why, and to hear it isn't has really shocked me and I can't get my head around it as I'd been imagining a boy. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy, but the difference between having a boy and a girl is massive to me.
Anyone else think the same?
