Hi I went to gran canaria when I was 14 weeks pregnant with ds and I found the flight absolutely fine. Like a pp said just make sure you drink lots and maybe get up and have a wander down the plane occasionally. The holiday was nice and relaxing although I hated watching dp sitting having a nice cold beer when I was on sprite! Have a lovely time - make the most of what may be your last relaxing/peaceful break for a long time!!xx

Hi,
I went to Turkey @ 12 weeks and was absolutley fine. i was feeling so sick too. Just make sure u drink lots of water and go for the odd walk about. Spain isn't a long flight tho. If it makes u feel any better, my sis has flown lots of times during her pregnancy and when we went to Turkey she was 32 weeks. She was absolutely fine and the hol was just the total relaxation she needed!
Hope this helps and enjoy ur hols.

*** class="comment">hi all,
i'm going to spain on monday and just wondered if anyone has any experiences of flying when pregnant - i'm going with ryanair.
i'm 17 weeks pregnant and know that i dont need a 'fit to fly' letter until 28 weeks with ryanair.
i'm still feeling sick on and off but its not as bad as it was last week (or should i say for the last 10 weeks!!).

With my first I was 28 weeks, pregnant, noone even asked me for a doctors note. I was going to tenerife so it was a 4hr plus flight. But I was fine a bit of water retention, but just make sure you exercise your legs every half hour or so. hth x
