Hi. Thank you for your replies. I completely forgot I had it, so have just taken my first tablet today. How bad am I? They didnt send another one off. I have to back in two weeks anyway for a follow up due to SPD,so I guess they might check again?? I dont know.

sorry crashing fron due in jan i had the same this week but they sent off another sample for testing and was told to wait for results before they prescribe anything

hiya im now on my 7th uti. it always shows up leucosytes an protein. u should take the whole 7 days the doc told me as it takes the 3 days for it to clear up but then u have to finish the course to make sure its definately gone cause theres a chance it can come back if u dont finish them hth xxx

Hi. Thank you so much for that. I have tried to google it, but all that came up was leukemia and I knew that wasnt right. I have been prescribed amoxicillin for 7 days, do you think I should take it for 3? Thank you so much for your help.

Dropping in from DID. When they test your urine in the maternity clinic the testing sticks they use can show (when you have an infection)  + for leucocytes, which are the white blood cells that try to kill off infections.

You will probably be prescribed 3 days of amoxicilin capsules as this seems to be what is used during pg.

What does this mean? I have never heard of leuk, has anyone else? They have said uti but not taken any for testing. Didnt really explain it to me. He was too worried about my ring on my swollen  finger. Anyone else had this?
