hope your not to worried about it, just try to think on the plus side extra scans maybe !!! lol and  i think if it was anything serious they would have given you a bit more info (or i'd like to hope so)

Did they tell you what it was called? The only thing I can find is Single Umbilical Artery. Affects 1 in 100 pregnanciesand or newborns. So it is very common. And all that is needed is a growth scan, something to do with the waste going to the placenta. I should have copies and pasted sorry. Just think, a year ago you wouldnt have even known about it, as we only got 16 week scans and its so common. GL on Wednesday. No need to worry about anything

Hi Lisa. Im glad your scan went ok. So how many arteries are there supposed to be then? Im sorry Im no help, Ive never heard anything about that before, Im going on google. So glad everything else is well. I have been thinking about you today, was going to post earlier but computer crashed and then big brother and ugly betty so Im sorry. Hope all goes well on Wednesday and be sure to let us know what happens. x

glad bubs is doing good hun, hopefully the artery problem will correct its self before birth hun as its amazing what happens sometimes inside the mother. Im sure the consultant will also put your mind at rest a little and answer any questions that you may have.

had my scan today bubs is great but the sonographer noticed only one artery was wrking .i wish i could explain better but to be honest i dont no my self i will find out more this weds got to see consultant to discuss growth scans just to keep an eye that bubs is growing ok.he has told me not to worry and its more common now adays because tecknoglogy is so good.sorry bad spelling.if anyone has more info i would appreiate you letting me no.but apart from that my baby is doing good scan pics are so cute. xxlisaxx
