micandchris - its really hard to explain what the feelings are like but as I said, I am expecting baby no. 4.  I am also 18 + 5 and am experiencing very little movement considering i've done it 3 times before.  It is very easy to work yourself into a frenzy when you think something is up.  I had a 10lb 11oz baby last time and to be honest i didn't really get major movements until I was about 22 weeks which is why I am not worrying that i dont get much movement.  Let us know how you get on at your 20 week scan.  are you going to find out what you are having?  U due end Feb I guess?

Iv had the stabbing pains and the annoying stretching pains. This freaked me out too!!! But honestly that is normal. I think what i had this morning was the fact that i had slept on my left side and i think bubs was curled up there as well!!!! x

should it be feeling like a stitch? I have that, is it bubs or my body expanding for what could be an 11lb-er

I get the pain low down on right hand side.  Like a stitch.  It is just the way the baby is lying and everything stretching and loosening.

i also get pains on the bottom left hand side of my stomach, the pains are worse some days then others, sometimes it feels like its pounding and somethimes i feel a thumping sensation which i've been feeling since i was 14 wks

there is also a hard lump sometimes felt there early morning and sometimes during the day, so im not sure what that lump is the baby or something else

i've been to the docs and she said its jus pain from my uterus strecthing and growing but i get pain whilst im walking, basically everytime my left leg moves.. im confused.. and i cant be bothered going to the docs again because the only responce i get is "its normal during pregnancy"

me too, i am not sure if i am having cramps, braxton hicks, muscle spasams or if its baby. This is my 1st and i am not sure what to be feeling for. I know people say fluttering but i haven't had any of this. I was lay on the sofa the other day and I felt what can only be described as lots of light little tappings quite low down, since that last week, nothing. | was thinking of buying a heart listening thing just to make sure baby sounds ok, still have 2 half weeks till next scan. Should i be worrying? I am 18 +5wks Micaela x

I had my 20 week scan on thurs (although i was only 18+5 and have to go back next fri for another) so i knew everything was ok. I didnt drink alot yesterday either. I think im just getting myself worked up all the time because, yes, i am a first time mum. xxx

Hi there.  Is this your first baby?  What you experienced yesterday are baby movements.  At 19 weeks you won't feel your baby move on a regular basis but you will get the odd flutter.  I am expecting number 4 and I am experiencing a lot of aches and pains in my lower tummy as my tummy stretches to accommodate (my last baby was 10lb 11oz!).  I am almost 19 weeks and only feel mine flutter occassionally.  As your baby grows, you will feel it a lot more.  Good luck!

Im sure your just worrying over nothing hun.  If you haven't had a loss, or severe pains I would try not to worry too much.  I would mention it to your midwife but try not to worry too much until you speak to her, these baby's do funny things to our bodies, probaby just testing you!  Hope all is ok xxx

Hopefully im worrying over nothing but, it all started yesterday tea time. I was sat on the sofa and i kept getting really odd sensations really low down in my tummy. The only way i could describe it, it was like a vibrating fluttering sensation. I got up this morning not really thinking about it and i noticed that i had like a really dull ache on the left side of my tummy, its the same spot that i feel the baby in (oh and i do sleep on my left side). Its now gone and so far iv not felt baby move. Can any one shed any light on this or am i just worrying over nothing?!! Thank you. 19+2 xxxxxx
