I never really thought of initials as much as making sure the name goes with the surname and doesn't sound silly, like Tyler Kitchen and that sort of thing!!.

My daughter is called Caris Olivia Millar so her initials are COM!!!!. We liked Finley Millar but it just reminded us too much of Windy Millar LOL. But yeah i don't think people notice initials as much as you think and as long as you like the name and their initials aren't something like POO, you are alright. x

Mine before i got married were LEG lol When i was expecting eldest ds i wanted to call him sherie-louise ann but my mum pointed out with our surname(grantham) it would have spelt sl@g thankfully he was a boy but the initials def put me off the name xx

Those names are lovely   I love Thomas for a boy (although DH is a Thomas so could cause problems!)
DS is Alexander Robert McBride (ARM) but we did have James Alexander McBride (JAM) but couldn't bring ourselves to do it!  

Hey thanks girls!  Amanda, congrats on your pink bump and Itchycat, ELA/Ella is so cute!  We did think of Lewis Ethan then his initials would be LEW so sort of similar to how your girl's name initials spell out. I guess you are right, I doubt anybody would even notice! x

My partners initials are BRA (ben Robert Abbott) LOL. We have chosen a girls name Ella May Abbot so her initials will be ELA and for a boy we have chosen Dylan Robert Abbott DRA!!!! I dont really think any one would really pay much attention until it came to form filling!!!! x Love Thomas Eathan though xxx

What does everybody think of Thomas Ethan?  Problem is our surname begins with W so his initials would be be TEW (like chew or choo), is that weird?  I did lol when I thought about it as my DD used to say Choo Choo Thomas for Thomas the Tank Engine!  We have Bethany Hope for a girl but I have really strong boy feelings x
