im not sure hun im sure baby is fine they are moving so much that the heartbeat can sometimes fade as they turn around or sometimes they are deep down in your pelvis!! HTH

Were you having BH at the time? Maybe thats it?

Am hooping for some advice/reassurance from thopse of you with dopplers. I'm 20 weeks today & have an angelsounds doppler. Usually have a listen in each night just before I go to sleep & heartbeat always sounds fine. However last night while I was listening the heartbeat suddenly slowed right down for several seconds before picking up to its normal rate. Was a bit worried by that so have had a listen again this morning & the same thing is happening. Baby's really active & kicking so I'm sure nothing serious can be wrong, just wondered if anyone else has noticed this when listening into their bubs.
