    wantabump!

Its a weird sensation when pushing in labour coz it sort of is like you are pooing! After my dd was born i did ask my dp if i had pooped or not!! Thankfully i hadn't!! Would love a water birth this time and i've heard they just fish everything out the water with a net...all the blood clots and that.

i want a water birth, so worried about poo-ing tho, even during a normal birth, i hate the thought that my DP will/might see me poo - he finds this highly ammusing

Happytails - maybe just mix it in and call it a stock cube? lol

Sorry - that was a bit flippant! No idea really. I've no doubt they've dealt with all kinds of situations, and lets face it, regardless of in or out of the pool, there's a whole variety of bodily fluids and functions they must be used to dealing with, from all orifices! I think the trick is meant to be just go with the flow and don't give a hoot what you squirt out!

I heard that some hospitals make you take a cheapo seive with you to clean up any lumps and bits that fall of during the whole process! Nice

Sorry girls silly question but i just dont know the answer.

If you are having a waterbirth and you accidentally have a bowel movement whislt pushing - what happens?  Does it get left? or someone has to fish it out?  Or is there a filter?

Its really gross, sorry, but i want a waterbirth but i can see myself sat with a floater in the pool

    Help me out xxxxx
