I've had a few drinks since been pregnant but I've never over done it.  I find that when I drink cider or alco pops I tend to get heart burn.  I've never touched spirits, but I find that a little bit of wine mixed with lemonade is very nice and I'll be having a couple of those over Christmas.

I've been drinking Schloer (is that how it's spelt!?) - I haven't made a conscious decision to stay teetotal but I haven't actually had a drink since becoming pregnant and now I'm out the habit I'm j ust not that bothered about it - may have a small glass at Christmas though x

    23 weeks today!

I too choose to stay teetotal while pg, there are some nice wines by a company called Fre - you can buy them in Sainsburys, etc

I was reading about a wine substitute in a pregnancy mag,  it won an award in the alcholic catigory.  I cant remember what its called but i'll dig out the mag and let you know.  As i do recal it was resonably priced too.

Its nice to have this stuff now and again,  i dont drink at all whilst pregnant, but it doesnt stop me wanting it

the odd glass of wine isnt going to hurt and if you dont fancy a whole glass why not have it topped up with lemonade? i've had a few glasses of red wine (not in one go) it wont hurt and even my midwife said its fine. so i wouldnt worry about the odd glass.

    Love it!Linds41

I just wanted to say i'v really been craving beer and larger, but of course cant have any.  So i thought i'd give Becks alchol free a go as my mum told me it was nice.  I bought some and tried one earlier and if someone handed me one and i didnt see the label i could swear it was the alcholic stuff.

really really nice,  so if anyone else is fancying a larger i suggest that
