I did find red ones in Matalan, which I just bought in a big size, but the shade of red is more appropriate for halloween rather than to go with a nice black dress.  I have checked out loads of maternity sites but just keep finding black.  Think I may have to give up and make do with black.  Thanks to everyone who replied.

i'm actually really freaked out by the idea of wearing tights. went to a wedding yesterday and wore hold up stockings but they were flesh coloured. is anybody else really freaked out by tights even at 19 weeks i'm convinced i'd give birth into them. just cant bring myself to wear em!

mothercare only have black, but try blooming marvelous- mothercare ones are massive and i bought the right size according to my height and look like nora b*** as they keep falling down. they are a real pain!!

Have you considered hold-up stockings?

If i cant find what i need i always go online, there are some fantastic online maternity shops.

Not sure if they stock those colours but Mothercare have loads of tights in I just bought some and there really comfy xxxxxxxx

Does anyone know where I can get either red or grey thick maternity tights?  It's to go with a black dress for an evening party and I thought it would make my outfit a little more brighter than black tights.
