Hiya hun,  When are you due are you dif as well? There don't seem to be many of us welshies on here lol! Are you from Cardiff too then?

I think i'll be on the ward as i'm consultant led due to having a high bmi! But I have a few friends who have given birth there recently both in the midwife led bit and on the ward and they say it was fine! I was a bit worried about having baby there at first as i'd heard mixed things about the place but I bet all hospitals get good and bad press! I have a 2 year old ds but he was born in bristol as we were living over there at the time so this will be different for me! I am from Cardiff though - just moved around a bit with work! They are refurbishing ( sp? ) the unit too at the mo which I think is why they are using the ward if you're consultant led, don't think it'll be finished before I have baby though!

hi noticed your having baby in UHW. if you dont mind me asking are you having the baby on the ward there or in the midwife led unit?

been thinking about having my baby in the midwife led unit there so trying to find people who had babies there or know what its like
