Spoke to consultant today about the pains and she has said the tummy pains could be due to previous section and the ligaments pulling on it but i should have gone in last night to be checked....oops. I'm under strict instruction that if it happens again to call them and go in to be monitored

I went to hospital last night with similar things plus some slight pinky discharge, they checked me over and said i was fine and it was nothing to worry about. They also said i did the right thing going in and getting checked out if for nothing else but piece of mind. x

By the way I meant to add that I never had a show at any point and my waters broke really

near the end of labour so that doesn't mean they might not be contractions of some sort that you're experiencing.

Hi hun sounds a bit like my symptoms when I went into labour with my son 3 years ago. Like you I had a bath and came out feeling worse - the aches had got stronger. If it's the bottom of your back sacrum/coccyx type area where it's killing then it all sounds familiar to me yes.

May be worth calling the labour ward/on call midwife for advice. How many weeks are you?

As it could be labour but even if not better safe than sorry.

I've had tummy cramps (bit like period pain) for just over a week now but tonight my back has started aching a lot more. Its from the bottom of my back to the middle and the lower part of my tummy aches all the time and every so often the top goes achy and feels a bit tighter. I've had a bath which didnt really help if anything has made it worse. Chris is on nights this week and I have a scan tomorrow so dont really want to call hospital tonight as im not too sure what it is.....does anyone have any ideas at all?

I've not had a show (didnt have one with Jenni either) and as far as I know my waters havent gone (but I didnt realise they had gone with Jenni)

I just feel like I need someone to rub the bottom of my back
