this is my 2nd to and i'm definantly more scared than now thaan i was the 1st time coz i know whats coming...i also had a really long labour of 40 something hours with dd so thats kinda scared me lol really hoping lil man comes alot quicker.

I love OBEM though, it doesn't scare me, just makes me want 2 meet my baby more, coz even trhough you see some scary sights on there the end result is always great and they r so happy, can't wait 4 it 2 be me, and i'm hoping my waterbirth goes as well as the one that was on OBEM on wednesday don't think i've ever seen any1 so calm while giving birth!! xx

Oh my goodness I recorded one born every min and watched it yesturday while chillin on the sofa and I was literally biting the remote control while tensing every muscle thatstill works in my body watching Stella give birth - it was terrifying!

She was screaming so loud and seemed so out of control it was awful to watch it made me feel terrified. I think its alot worse knowing what to expect - this is my second child and I am definatley more scared this time especially as my labour was 49 hours last time. I hope the people who say "the second time is always easier" are right!

Hi, Having been through labour once, I can help you relax after the screamer. It is horribly painful but I found that I just got into a zone and did what needed to be done. I was in labour for 38hrs as well and never did I scream like that!! Do whatever works for you and take whatever pain relief you need...and always focus on the outcome...it's so worth it!!!! M(35+4)

As soon as he walked in I thought OMG he's so in that closet!!  Can't believe as well that MW said that SamnLilPip as my hubby was watching as well and he's been really put off the deed for the last 8 weeks !!  I'm going mad! He just can't get over the fact that the baby is in there and feels put off!! Makes me feel like he's been put off me and the fact I'm so fat now!! Not nice I know!! So 1 week is nothing compared to me!!  The MW's as well seem to always be drinking tea and eating cake on that programme!! How funny!!  The other blonde woman put me right off labour now as I was quite laid back about it all but she just wouldn't stop screaming and could tell the MW was getting really annoyed with her!!  But then again I've not gone through it yet so I may be like that!! OMG I'm scared now!!  Wendy 35+1

He is defo coming out the closet. Ill give him 2 years tops haha.

I could have slapped that midwife who said she could feel babys head with her fingers! OH was a bit put off bedroom action when my MW said babys head was fully engaged and I explained what a sweep was. It took me a whole week and a half to get him to pursuade him to do the deed then the tele MW says that!!!! Now hes like well if ya can feel it with ya finger then the baby and me will defo feel each other when I put my love stick there wont it! So now Im back to square one again! A whole week of celebacy to look forward to haha

LMAO sam - hmmm... he WAS a bit effeminate (don't know if that's how you spell it) & when he started talking about family saturday nights in matching name embroidered dressing gowns playing singstar!!! Jeez.... the girl seemed sure that he was THE straight one in her class at college though!... had to laugh at his face when the mw told them she was able  to feel babies head!
