Lilysuesmummy, shame they couldn't see anything at the scan, how far are you along? I am due for a scan today or tomorrow at 5 + 2wks , hope something positive comes back from the bloods for you, let us know...
Leelalala, so glad to hear yours was only a kidney infection, what a relief, what a horrible gp tho, I agree with Charlotte any pg before 24 weeks that you loose is a mc, my doctor was really really good about it I'm just on tender hooks waiting for a scan to come through, keep getting this twinging in my right side feels like my lower back, I had it on saturday too, but it isn't too bad, well if I wasn't paranoid I'd probably think nothing of it so fingers crossed, and I've had no more bleeding since about 5 yesterday afternoon, the last of it was really brown and mucasy so got everything crossed tho sitting round off work is killing me!

I am sorry to say that I have had another miscarriage. The doctor who said that it would be just a late period before 10 weeks doesn't know what his is talking about. The medical definition of miscarriage is the spontaneous loss of a pregnancy before 24 weeks. Miscarriage is very common, occurring in 10 to 20 percent of confirmed pregnancies. Most of these occur in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.
That make me very angry when people dismiss what we go through. I had 2 mc before my daughter (one at 8 weeks and one at 6 weeks) she is now 2 years old and I have not had 2 mc again this time both at around 4+5 weeks.
I am really uspet but life goes on.... it's my birthday tomorrow and I am going to make the most of it.

How is everyone? Any news? I'm so impressed with the service in your area. When I phoned the other night because of cramping (turned out to be a kidney infection) I was laughed at by the Dr on the phone for caliing it an mc, he said it would be a late period at just over 5 weeks (apparently its not an mc till 10 weeks) and that they wouldn't see me for it if it was. I was just to see how things go and let them know what happened. So I'm really impressed that they give you tests and scans to make sure everything is OK, it must be really reassuring. Hope things are going better for you all. xxx

Well ive been in a+e all day due to a bleed this morning, just brown like mucus. I had a scan but to early to see anything so got bloods done, going back on fri for my second bloods, im not in any pain so im hoping its something of nothing. They didnt seem worried about the bleed so im feeling possitive, what will be will be. xxx

Hey Car82 and mollysmum - have all my fingers and toes crossed for you both - hope all goes ok at the docs and with the scans etc! Here's hoping it's just implantation cramps/spotting etc and nothing more. I had an mc with my first pregnancy and two months after I got pregnant with Isabelle (she's now 2) and I got the cramps & spotting when i was pregnant with her too but she hung in there so you never know! Yhinking of you both, try to stay positive and keep as relaxed as you can (easier said than done I know!). Sending lots of baby glue your way xx

Hey Ladies well the dr was running late so I didn't get out til 7! But he has refered me to epu for a scan thinks by the time he faxes it off it'll be too late for tomo so poss fri and I am to stay off work until I've had scan. he had a feel of my tummy and it seems ok, my blood pressure was a little high but nothing worrying, said if I have major bleeding serious cramping or one sided stabbing pains or dizziness straight to a&e! Still bleeding has stopped, got a few twimgy crampy pains but not sure whether all the anxiety brought them on, they aren't any worse than what I've had since last week.
so hope it's ok but I'll keep you all posted, thanks for all the support xxxxxxxxxx

glad the bledding claming down , i know easier said than done but try not to stress to much , lots of people can bledd and still go on to have a perfectly normal pg'y , keeping everything crossed for you xxxxxxxx

Bleeding has slowed down and cramping has stopped, still feel pregnant. I called the epu and they said they don't scan before 6 weeks anyway so I will have to wait unless it gets worse. i will call Drs in the morning to see what she says, they may give me a blood test to test my HCG levels.
going out of my mind with worry...

Love to you both but just wanted to say that with my daughter who is now 14 monthsold i had a whole day of heavy bleeding i was in a state too , i tried for 5 years for her and thought my world would end but shes here and totally healthy. Dont lose faith xxxxx

I think I am loosing mine too. I have had cramps and a red blood. feeling really low at the moment and waiting to see what happens. Nothing much can be done if it is a mc unfortunatly. How far gone are you? I am only 4+4 weeks...I already lost one last month, I can't believe it is happening again.
As you have light bleeding it might just be the little one burrowing into the womb. Try and stay positive, not easy I know. I had a light bleed with my daughter who is not 2 so all is not lost.
