Good morning ladies, well my scan was amazing....the lady was so nice she did areally thorough exam and was letting us have a really good look at everything. When she had a look for the sex it was as though he was sat on the scanner cos you could see, as clear as anything, his little bum, 2 spread out legs and then all his lil boy bits. He was moing around so much and I could feel the movements as I was seeing them! I thought Ryan would be dissappointed cos he wanted a little girl but he was so happy that he would have 2 sons with the same age gap as him and his brother! And I was the one who felt a bit disappointed....which was followed by guilt which was followed by joy at realising my baby was ok and Cole will love to have a little brother

I feel bad cos until now I felt that Cole comes before my 'pregnancy'....but now I feel like I have 2 sons already and I love them both the same and I can't wait til march now! On the hunt for names now too so if anyone has any ideas??

Angela, glad ur bubs is ok. It's a shame you couldn't see everything but nice that you get to have another look It will be so exciting when you have bubs now and get to tell everyone the sex

Kerriann...when is your next scan and are you finding out the sex?? I know I've probably asked you already but I'm forgetful and over excited. lol!

Will have my pic on later and also bump pic....at long last

    Lol, Helen

Everything was fine but need to go back in 2 weeks as they couldn't check heart & kidneys as it wouldn't change position.  It was lying on it's back on top of the placenta at the bottom of my womb.  Must be comfy there, lol.  Can you remember when the placenta moves up out the way of the exit so to speak?  Was told it was normal for it to be there but I can't remember from last time.  Had it's legs in the air with it's ankles crossed   Even if we'd wanted to know what we were having (which we didn't) we couldn't have found out!  Christopher was fascinated bless him and when I got off the bed he wanted on it.  Nige put him on, he lay down and pulled his t shirt up wanting them to look at his tummy!

I should really do some housework today but tbh I can't be bothered, lol.

    Good morning,

Angela, that is soooo mean. We have to wait all weekend now to find out if you found (does that make sense?) Just kidding, hope all goes well and let us know asap.

Thanks Kerriann, I don't know how I'm going to contain myself until 3.40 and I sure don't know how I'll hold in 2 pints of water!! I'm sooo over excited! Btw, that pic of sophie is so cute

Be back on later to let you know the news

    Hiya

Hope you are all keeping ok.

Good luck for tomorrow Helen, hope it all goes ok.  Still not sure if we're finding out, don't think we are.  Our scan is at 10.50 as I arranged it so that my mum could get here to look after Christopher if necessary (she has to come through on the bus as she doesn't drive) but we're taking him with us.  That could be fun, lol.

I might not get back on here til Monday morning though or be able to post pics til then as Nigel is off all weekend and I never seem to get round to looking at the computer when he's off so no one panic if I'm not on! lol (not sayin you would but just in case... )

Kerriann - when is your next scan?

Morning ladies, where are you all again?

Angela, just wanted to say good luck with your scan tomorrow, sure you won't need it though! My scan isn't until 3.40pm so will be late on when I post on here, what time is yours?

Kerriann.....no more work for this week now then? What are you up to on your days off, I'm sooooo bored, I'm actually glad that my lil bro has broken his hand so he's off work and coming to keep me company for the day! That's so mean

    Morning ladies!

I have bought Cole a potty, I know he's a bit young, he can't even walk properly yet but we just want him to get used to it. We've just left it in with his toys so he's had it on his head and all sorts! lol! I sit him on it every so often and will just see what happens. If he pees on it he will get applause and hopefully that will encourage him to want to use it??

For me this pregnancy is soooooo different. It is goingreally fast because all my attention is on Cole instead of pregnancy. You can't relax as much as you could and when you have a 2 stone baby that you have to carry on your hip you get more aches and pains! Last time I spent my days on the sofa, relaxed and wasn't allowed to lift anything heavier than a bag of sugar!!! Other people don't seem to care as much this time either. Probably because, they too, are more interested in Cole. We bought him some 'proper' shoes on Saturday and he looks like a big boy now Can you sense that I am a proud mama!? Lol!

Does anyone else feel guilty already about putting one child in front of the other?? I feel guilty that Cole can no longer have naps on my belly cos it's getting too big And I feel guil;ty when I get a little twinge in my belly cos I'm playing with Cole and I've forgotton I'm pregnant!!

yea, tbh I don't really feel pregnant this time.  Will once it starts kicking!  Think it's cos already got a kid to concentrate on where last time we didn't.

I'm attempting potty training again today, could be fun!

    Morning Angela,

Do you think this pregnancy is going a lot quicker than last time? It feels like it!

My bump doesn't seem to be growing so fast now like it did at the start, but I certainly feel different this time round, do you feel different this time?

    Morning

I know Helen , 4 days to go. I don't think we're finding out the sex.  Mind you Christopher wouldn't have let us know if we wanted to because of how he was lying!

Think I've felt bubs move a little bit  a couple of times but nothing major yet.  Maybe the fact that so far most of my bump is still my fat tummy is padding it, lol.  I seem neater so far this time, not that I'm complaining but considering I was massive at a few weeks I expected to be an elephant again by now!

It's funny but I just realised the other day that Christophers birthday will always be inthe xmas holidays!  Mine was nearly always in half term.

I agree Angela while they don't realise yet as when they are bigger things will get more expensive for us all so for now I think we will keep presents etc to a minimum. When they start nursery or school you can always send in a birthday cake.

The last two years we've just had my mum & dad round for a buffet tea & think we'll just do the same this year.  I used to invite them round one saturday before christmas til we had christopher.

I know people who have had parties at soft play areas for their kids since they were 1 but personally I think it's a bit excessive at this age.  Plus he doesn't have many friends yet, maybe when he starts pre school.  I always make him a birthday cake and he doesn't care that it's not an expensive one from a shop!

    Good morning ladies

Well done Cole! He will be running in no time lol I'm sure you are very proud it's great when they learn things for the first time. Xmas will be tight this year well every year lol so just buy what you can afford Helen a job might be too stressful for you as your bump gets bigger & xmas jobs you have to work right up until then iykwim?  We are just getting everyone small presents this year & sorting Sophies presents first which wont be very much either as she doesn't understand, but I am getting so excited about Xmas now that we have Sophie

Angela glad your feeling better about the baby moving too, Ikwym about no space in the house lol Will you be having a party for Christopher on his birthday? I don't rally know that many kids to have a big party for Sophie so will probably be just family in the house for her birthday.

    Morning  how is everyone?

Well the other night Nigel thought he felt baby move & i thought I maybe felt something but not sure.  Christopher never used to move all day, just on an evening so think this one might be the same.

Kerriann - I've already done some shopping for Christopher for Xmas.  Got him a few bits (just small things) as we got a garage given which is immaculate so keeping that for xmas.  That can be his big present. Got him some animals, cars, jigsaws so far. With what my mum & dad get him he'll have enough.  Other thing is his birthday is on 27th December so think we'll get him a cash register from elc for that as he already has some playfood & a little cooker.  Haven't got any room now so don't know where we'll put everything!  I wouldn't go mad for Sophie if she's only 1 - she won't be too bothered yet (I know Christopher wasn't) but she will like the sticky bows & gift tags, lol.  Her birthday is the same day as my friend

Helen - congratulations on Cole walking.  I know what you mean about money being tight, i'm trying to stick to a really small budget for xmas but Nigel wants to buy Christopher a Dalek we saw in Woolies (he's Doctor Who mad already and he's not even 3  ) I'm a bit annoyed as I've been trying to find things on a budget and he wants to spend £40 on that.  Don't get me wrong it would be great (and I'd love it, lol) but it's not really necessary.  Haven't said anything to him though.  We're the same with babysitters - mum & dad work full time and have no one else to look after him.

    Good morning,

Hi Kerriann, how are you? I'm starting to think about christmas already too. It's not like me at all to be so previous but things are going to be seriously tight this year and I'm thinking if I spread the cost it may be a little less painful! I have decided I need to get myself a job but I don't know whether to start looking now or after bubs is born. I suppose I couls probably get a christmas kind of job until after baby is born but don't want to have to work all over christmas really. Can't afford any childcare and all capable family members work full time so would have to be while Ryan is here, making it evenings and weekends....yuk!

Omg, can't believe I have forgot to mention that Cole has started walking!!!!! He will only do it when we try to make him do it but he took about 10 steps the other day I am one proud mama! lol, we are going on saturday to buy him some 'proper' shoes....so excited.

Sophie's birthday is the same day as one of my best friends so I'll remember that now Do you know what you are getting her yet?

Hi ladies we are all a bit quiet lately!

Angela how you feeling hun? have you felt any movements? I would say it's normal not to feel any yet as bubs can be lying towards your back, I'm sure it is moving just not strong enough to feel it iykwim?

What have you all been up to? I think I will start my xmas & birthday shopping for Sophie at the weekend she will be 1 on the 21st Dec, I wont be buying a lot tho as she wont notice yet! lol

    Good morning,

Hi Angela, I wouldn't worry too much about not feeling bubs move he/she is probably just a chilled baby! lol! I had only felt mine once up until this weekend. I felt it on saturday night at 10pm and then last night at the exact same time! Bubs kicked me in the exact same place too. I still don't feel it often though and I think at this stage you have to be really thinking about it to notice it happening, especially if you have the same troubles I have with wind and going to the loo!

Well Ryan has gone back to work today and I feel horrible for saying that I am a little relieved! I love him to bits but he has driven me nuts for the last 2 days. So I am glad to relax today! Just going to play with Cole and chill out all day
