My work trousers are getting rather cosey.. a bit too cosey for my liking but i dont wanna jinx anything by goin out and buying anything too early! Im a size 8 and have an office job so i have long tops and been un-doin thetop button when i sit down lol. Some how everyone at work knows its not like i have to hide it! boobs are starting to pop out of every top i own so once iv had my scan i said il go and buy some tops lol

Lots of people get aches and pains first time too from reading on this forum so I wouldn't worry. It's just all the ligaments, muscles relaxing and stretching
I think she meant that you tend to notice them more easily second time round, possibly cos it's all been stretched before! Last time I didn't need maternity clothes til at least 12 - 15 weeks and this time I've been in them since 5 weeks cos my stomach muscles have given up the ghost overnight

hi ladies hope u dont mind me gc but i just read a few of your posts about pains and i have been getting loads!! Weird period type ones like a few of u, im 9 wks #1 and was starting to panic.. bigwi did the mw say it only happens on second pregnancies or can it happen on first ones too??

Helen, my midwife told me the other day that all the aches and pains I never noticed/felt the first time I will second time and that it's common to get period type pains around 9 weeks when your uterus pushes upwards.
Don't know if that helps but I've had quite a few mild period type pains this time and she's right, I never had any with Christopher.

had groin pain last week got so worried got checked by a midwife at work! think im just worrying baout every little thing as i dont really seem to have any symptoms anymore (am ten weeks today) still tired but not as much, just really want my scan now!

Hi Rachel, I'm fine thanks. Just tired and bored but nothing new there. I had a night of terrible cramps and groin pain last week. Sooooo horrible and scary! Does it feel like a period pain?

I was stood washing ds bottles today and thinking.....'I can buy new bottles for my bean with my boots advantage card points' and I'm thinking about getting some on wednesday. lol.Well Angela, at least you finally got booked in....one step closer to that all important scan. Although it is 5 weeks from when I got booked in, to when my actual appointment is. But I think once you know when it is you feel better iykwim?

Helen, midwife came yesterday. When i spoke to her Saturday she apologised loads and said she'd come round yesterday morning instead. Just waiting for a letter with a scan date now! Can't wait. -

Have something to admit....I've brought a baby bouncer, i know im so bad but its a mamas and papas one in argos at mo but i got one really cheap so couldnt not but it, whoops.
Have been given loads of bounty bags by work!

So how's everyone? Angela, that's a bit crap them crossing your name off. Have you got another appointment yet?
I got my scan date on Saturday....it's on 22nd Aug so 2 weeks on friday. I'm soooooooo excited!!!!! I'm feeling quite well too atm....(famous last words) lol! Have told the world too so I don't have to hide it anymore when I feel ill and I've been gtting a bit more support from my family
Teardrop, it sounds like you are having some pretty bad morning sickness
or should I say all day and night sickness! I was like that, thankfully only for a week though. Hope you are feeling better soon.Oh yeh, and.................where is everyone else!!!!????!!!! lol

Midwife never came
I rang up at 3.30 to be told someone with a similar name had also had an appointment yesterday and they'd crossed mine out thinking it was her! I was fuming as had stayed in all day on my own for nothing. Bloody useless.
She's supposed to be coming this morning at 11 which means I can't go out with dh and ds again today so bit p'd off.

It has been very quite on here! I haven't been due to my dreaded sickness morning noon and night
I have finally been given sum tablets from the doctor and I seem to be able to keep sum fluids down at least.Glad everyone else is pretty much ok!
Angela has your MW been? I got my booking in on 20th august seems like ages away!

I've got my booking on visit today though she couldn't gove me an exact time, just between 10.30 and 4pm! Means I'm stuck in the house til she's been
Can't wait til she does the paperwork and then I'll get a scan date
My sickness seems to have gone more or less too but still don't fancy eating most things. Made shepherds pie for tea last night and I just pushed it round the plate and ended up having a cheese sandwich when Christopher went to bed!
Also hungry all the time. Ended up having rice krispies at 5am yesterday as woke up because of thunder and was that hungry I couldn't get back to sleep, lol

Aw Rachel I bet you're excited to have a scan date then?! I just can't wait to see my lil bean. Have been having so many different aches and pains this time, it will be a relief just to know everything is ok. Have been feeling faint a hell of a lot too which makes me wonder about blood pressure but my mw and dr haven't checked my blood pressure? I'll be so happy to get my scan and see that little heart beat.
So what's everyone up to today?

Hi all, hope we're all well.
Angela, when Cole had his jab he screamed and stopped breathing until his face went purple!!!! Then he stopped and was fine for the rest of the day! lol!
Well I have told everyone about my bean now. Have even announced it on facebook! Everyone says I'm mad but are super happy for us
My nausea seems to have faded a little now and I've been too busy to notice it really! How is everyone else doing? Has anyone got a scan date yet? I keep waiting on the posty every morning but no luck yet -
