Hi ladies, how's everyone?
I sometimes wonder if Ryan having all that time off work is the best thing. Last time he was very upset when he had to go back. And for me it's just delaying the inevitable fact that I'll have 2 under 2's! Arrrrrgh!
I've just got back from taking Cole for his mmr jab
He was supposed to have them last week but had been a bit under the weather so he had them today. He was sooo good. He gave a little cry when the needle went in and that was it! He's now happily playing (trying to break my lamp to be exact) and is the most cheerful he's been all week!!I have finally got my appetite back, I'm sat here stuffing my face with weetabix....3 of them! So will probably start piling the weight on soon

Morning ladies,
Shouldn't really be on here as in work lol
Nik sorry to har about your fibroid but glad it isn't dangerous tho! Those are lovely unusual names you have picked I hope you can persuade your dp!
Helen & Angela you are lucky to have your oh at home for so long after the birth! but at least I will have mum to help so I shouldn't really complain I suppose.

Morning

I haven't felt baby move either yet but with Christopher I never felt him move til about 22 weeks!Nigel will hopefully be able to take about 4 weeks off again. Last time it was over Xmas so he was on holiday anyway and then took paternity leave too. He's lucky as even though it's not the same as full wages, his company tops up the government basic rate so not too bad. Will be really pleased of another pair of hands especially if I end up having another c section.
He's gone back to work today so feel really lost, got used to him being at home. Christopher still asleep but he won't be happy when he finds out Daddy's not here.

Morning ladies! How is everyone? Nice to hear from you nikwik. I was also worrying about not "feeling" the baby or "feeling" pregnant but the night before last I felt my baby move for the first time! Yay! It was so nice to know it's moving around in there but at the same time I'm now worrying cos I haven't felt it since! Then once it gets bigger and starts kicking me in the ribs I'll wish it would stop moving! lol!
Kerriann, Ryan only gets a week paternity leave too. Last time they said it was ok to take 3 weeks holiday as well and then after he went back they told him he didn't have enough holidays and wouldn't get paid! So 2 months after cole was born he only got a weeks wage instead of a month! Which wasn't good so this time he is making sure he saves his holidays up! I've told him he doesn't need to take a whole month off but he wants to?!

Morning Good Ladies
Sorry I have been absent for so long. This week I've been out nearly everyday after work with one thing or another. I think I'm subconciously cramming in as much as I can before I give up my freedom for years. Listening to you all reminds me of the baby stages again. I was looking at some jobs abroad too today and thinking - I won't beable to do that now. Then I think about the little baby and a big broad smile comes across my face. S/he will bring so much love and joy into our lives just like my son Jamel who makes me beam by telling me about college every day..
So names: girl Cara-Lenka boy Dexter or Merlin
My OH doesn't agree on Lenka but I'll call her Lenka even if we name her Mary as I am dead certain about that name. Maybe I'll completely change my mind by the end.
Hey has anyone been feeling worried because they can't feel movement yet? I really want to feel movement so I know baby is in there. I mean I'm still sick and bump is growing but I'm still not reassured. Am I just being silly? My OH is not understanding at all he just gets freaked out when I express panicky views and is even more panicky than me so I thought you'd be the best people to turn to...
I have a fibriod in my uterus so I have to have more scans to check that it doesn't grow with the hormones. It can grow a big as the baby and then I'd have to have a C Section but other than that it's not dangerous really. Anyone else got one?
Well I'm working today for 4 hours. I still do promotional work on the weekends as well as my day job as I never have enough money! Today I'm giving out bookmarks at the Royal Albert Hall...
Well love to you all.
Nik

Morning ladies,
Good to hear from you Angela! Those names you have picked are lovely, Christopher is my dad & bros name & Rebecca is my nieces middle name. It's good for teachers not to have a lot of the same names in class as they are known as numbers & not their names!
Helen that is so sweet, telling the baby his/her name first! what a good idea! At least you will all have quality time together when the baby is born Ben can take 2 weeks but the paternity pay is crap! so will prob only take a week like last time.
Sophie still has a cough, it is awful when she cries hopefully it will be gone soon. A lot of kids seem to have the cold lately it just spreads like wildfire!
How are you feeling? I am being sick more often now, I thought it was meant to stop around this time!

Good morning!
Kerriann, Cole has ended up with a cold this week too. It's so hard when he's ill because he's so clingy and no one but mummy will do
He is better today though. I think he caught the cold off my friends kid who goes to school. She was my best friend at school and I haven't seen her for 10 years and it was brill! I was nervous to meet her cos I thought it would be awkward but we just got straight back to how we used to be and it was great. I went swimming on monday night too which was a nice break from being a mum! lol, things are good at the mo! I hope Sophie feels better soon, I think a cough is the worst part of a cold and it breaks your heart when they cough and then cry
Angela it's nice to hear from you, it is good when your oh is there to help out. Ryan isn't the greatest and I always have to ask him to do stuff but he does it and life is so much easier when he's around. I'm glad Ryan plans to take a month off work again when this bubs comes along!! He only gets 1 week paternity leave so has had to save up his holidays to have the time off! Bless him

I'm still at a total loss for names? I have a few girls names I like but Ryan doesn't. Oh well, I suppose we'll think of something....hopefully before bubs is born. When Cole was born we already had the name picked and we didn't tell anyone else. We wanted to tell Cole his own name first! And Ryan told him when he was born what his name was and I think he really loved doing it

My god I'm rambling again

Hello!!!!!!!!
Sorry haven't been on, Nige still on holiday as took this week off work as well. Lovely having another pair of hands to help with Christopher, lol.Kerriann - hope Sophie is feeling a bit better. We've all got a cold too, bet it was from some snotty kid at playgroup, lol.
Helen - pleased you heard the heartbeat. I've my next appointment in 2 weeks (will be 16 weeks then) so hoping I might hear ours.
As for names, I don't know for a boy. Still like Rebecca for a girl from last time but I'm convinced it's another boy, though I don't know why. Might be in for a shock in 6 months time, lol. Our first choice last time was Alexander but when Christopher was born we looked at him and said it didn't suit him. Poor thing had no name for first few days! His middle name is Robert as I nicknamed bump Bob so we thought it was rather appropriate, lol. When we went to look at the pre school the other day, teacher said "ooh, you don't get many Christopher's these days" and looked really pleased. Suppose it's easier than having 5 kids in one class with the same name!.
Marie is a good choice for a middle name - same as me!

Hi Helen,
Hey being a mum is a full time job so if I wasn't going to work I would still be working at home

She still has a cough & bit of runny nose now so has been sleeping with us as she coughs all night bless her. How are you & the lovely Cole, what is he up to now?

Good morning ladies!
Well after a very worrying hour in my mw office yesterday they finally found the heartbeat! They were about to send me to the hospital when another mw came in and they decided she'd have a go! Luckily she found it and all is well
Phew! They had me doing all sorts to get bubs to move up out of my pelvis! I really think it's a girl now cos no boy would be so awkward! lol! Even at our scan she kept moving down away from the scanner! lol!How is everyone? I have been overdoing it again this week and after 2 busy days I'm already knackered and probably good for nothing until about saturday!

Hi ladies,
I don't get on here until late on the days I'm working! My mil is a teacher & she says the same thing regarding names lol dont call your baby that as they will be naughty etc lol
How did the mw appointment go today Helen? did you hear the heartbeat? I still have a huge bruise on my arm from getting bloods taken a couple of weeks ago!
How are you all?

hello girly's
I think our baby will be the baby with no name for a while
lol Scott and I really don't agree on names. We aren't finding out the sex either so we are gonna have to find 2 names that we really love! All the nice girls names have been taken tho by my friends, so I'm gutted! Also my mum works in a school, so every time I suggest a name she's like oh no you don't want that one they will be a nightmare! God it's gonna be hard this time!
I really love Archey, and Dylan for a boy.
I had my scan yesterday and got put forward a week, so quite excited about that! Booked my 20 week scan too while I was there and thats at the end of October.. It's all going so quickly! I will post my pics later, I'm at work at the mo

It's been raining most of the day here too, rubbish! Izzy had her 2nd go at pre-school today... She was worse this time than last time - I feel so bad, but it's gonna be good for her wiv the baby coming too! I'm gonna stick wiv it!
How is everyone this evening? Been up to any good stuff?!
9/9/08 08:30
good morning ladies, well i found us all the way back on page 4!!!!

Hi all,
Haven't really had a chance to get on much today, Sophie has a really bad cold bless her so we were up most of last night.
Helen I have a few names picked, for a girl i love Freya not decided on the middle name yet maybe Marie after my sisters middle name & Joshua James is what we had picked last time as we thought Sophie was a going to be a boy but would like to have some more suggestions on boys names as I think they are harder to choose.

Morning ladies, how are we all? Weather here is miserable again so no plans for today. Anyone else up to anything exciting?
Can't believe how fast this pregnancy seems to be going! I am 15 weeks today which means in 5 weeks time I'll be halfway there! It's mad! Can't wait to get my next scan and start thinking of names. My family have already started to ask about names and try to guess at what we like. No doubt they will drive me mad like last time, trying to guess. Anyone else got a clue what names they are having yet?

Morning everyone

I haven't been on here for days. I'm fine though
Nigel has decided to take next week off as well which is great. We took Christopher to the soft play area yesterday to burn some energy off, lol.Helen - Pleased you got things sorted with Ryan. I know he has repsonsibilities but at 21 he is still quite young. Nigel can't use that excuse anymore - he'll be 38 when this baby arrives, lol.
NikWik31 - Nice to see you back
I'm 13 + 3 now (I think) and already have a little boy who is 3 on 27th December.Lindsay, Tillyann & Bernie - Welcome

Teardrop - hope Izzy was ok at pre school. I went to ask about it for Christopher yesterday as he can start in January. I did think 5 afternoons was too much but now I'm thinking he'll probably love it and it's me that doesn't want to let go. He loved the school so we're just hoping there are enough for a class in January otherwise he won't start til April.
Kerriann - hope you are ok. I looked like a hippo last time so don't worry, lol. I seem neater so far this time but that might be just cos I'm alot more active. Still time to turn into a pudding yet, lol. Like your idea for a group on facebook for donations, lol. I've still got terrible stretchmarks & wobbly tum from last time. Unfortunately my boobs have already started to head south so not much hope for them after having another! Only time I wish I was flat chested then it wouldn't be a problem.
