Ikwym Kerriann.....I love the pram I have now.....wish there was an extension to it for another baby so I wouldn't have to switch Don't really know whether to sell it to help pay for a new one or keep it? Hoping I will get some more help with a buggy. My dad bought the one I have and it's been a godsend, it's a big travel system and very bulky for the car but stil very secure and reliable. I'll be so sad when I can't use it anymore.

Anyway, what have you been up to today? It's soooooo cold here today I've turned my heating on for the first time in months. Have just been to the library to find out about mum and toddler group and I'll be going on tuesday morning so that's good.

    Angela, where are you hun?

    Morning ladies,

Helen I have decided to get the phil & teds sport buggy then buy the doubles kit as my house is very small & need a buggy that wont take up too much space & fit through the door! it's such a shame having to buy a new pram as mine is only 8 mths old so far & cost a small fortune, think I will leave it in my mums house tho & she can use it for when she has Sophie anyway.

Hope you are all well today

    xx

    Good morning ladies!

Nikwik, Ryan is just 21 this month so not so much more than a child himself. He is really a very good dad and partner most of the time. Usually it is when he gets with his brother that he seems to be immature and becomes selfish. But he only sees his brother a few times a year as he lives in a different country. I think because he's so young I let him go that bit too far because I want him to have his youth iykwim. But anyway, we are ok again now and I have told him that I am off swimming starting this monday and every monday night so he can sit home with Cole and wait for me! I also have lots of other plans this week so will be having the car all the time......he'll just have to get used to it!!

Sorry to hear you were sick on holiday Hopefully you will start to feel better soon.

What is everyone else up to? Think I have decided now to definately get a double buggy....I'm yet to see one that I like though Any ideas?

    Hello All

I'm back from Madrid! Wow was it hot there, too hot in fact, around 37 degrees. Heat and sickness don't really go together. I had planned to have finished feeling sick by the time we went but little bean had other ideas. So I'm still throwing up.

I had my 12 week scan on Tuesday and it turns out that I am 13 + 2 so my due date is now 08/03/09 rather than 11/03/09.

I am sorry to hear that you are beng left home alone Helen. Why are men so insensitive sometimes? I definately think that the hobby idea is a good one and the car should be yours first too! What if you need to dash to a clinic or something? We haven't got to that stage yet but with my 1 year olds dad I was constantly in the house alone while he was out but then we were young then. Is your partner unde 30 by any chance? Coz I have this theory that men don't start to mature until they reach 35 and even then...

Well I'm sure once you tell him how you feel he'll get the picture.

Well my foods in the oven so I'm off for now. Speak soon.

    Hugs

    Niki

    good afternoon all,

i sat down a talked to ryan and sorted everything out. i let him know he was taking the p*** with everything, especially keep taking the car (which i bought 2 years before i even knew him!) anyway i think he's learnt his lesson and we went out for the day yesterday. i got myself in such a state though, i was so upset, god damn these pregnancy hormones

how are you all? i think i'm starting to get rid of the fatigue now. have had tons of energy the last few days, still feel a bit sicky though and can only eat what i fancy, which isn't much.

    Morning

Sorry I haven't been around.  I don't tend to get on here at weekends and Nigel decided to take this week off on holiday. We didn't do much on Monday & yesterday he spent the whole day painting the kitchen as it hadn't been done for 3 1/2 yrs since we did it out.  Off to playgroup this morning.

Kerriann - hope you are ok & your meal went well the other night.

Helen - I agree.  Talk to Ryan.  If you don't things just get bottled up and it doesn't do anyone any good.  Believe me, i've been there.

Helen how are you hun? I think you need to sit Ryan down & tell him how you are feeling get it all off your chest you will feel so much better or you will just explode & get too upset. Sometimes men need things pointed out to them & don't realise that they are taking the p!ss sometimes! It is unfair o just take off & not even tell you where he is going especially now your pregnant & looking after Cole (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))). I hope you are ok, lety us know how you get on & we are always here for you.

    Morning ladies,

how are we all today? I have decided to do what I think most people should do about the milk debate.....and that's kep my opinion to myself! lol!

I am really fed up today and I'm sorry to go on about my petty arguments but I just ned to get it off my chest. My dp has, once again, taken off with my car for the entire day leaving me and Cole stuck in the house. I try to say something but you know what men are like...they can't take a subtle hint and if I have to tll him the truth there will be some major firworks because I'm fuming

He cam back for half an hour and I asked him to tighten the washing line. I have been asking him for ages but today one of my neighbours nearly decapitated himself on it! (It goes across the path at the back of our garden which is for a full row of houses). He says 'ok' and carries on what he's doing. So I decided to just do it myself. So it's done and as soon as I go back in the house he is puttng his shos on to go out. He kissed me and said bye....I tell him 've fixed the washng line and he goes 'oh, cool' and leaves!!! Arrrrrrrgggggggg!

I have no idea where he is, what he's doing or when he is coming back! Have to go now, getting too upset, bloody men!

    Afternoon ladies,

Helen it's hard not to say anything on that thread so can't reallt blame you! I was reading the threads in DIJ about the lady who asked about the next catalogue, they were very abusive to her they are like kids bullying!

I think thats a great idea Helen taking up a hobby  Ryan can stay in with Cole, swimming is a good one you should defo do that or maybe you could all go together as a family? Or call round to a mates house once a week for a girly chat & offload anything on your mind for a a couple of hours?

I have spent all morning in the kitchen making up batches of food for Sophie & freezing it then prepared our dinner so just to cook it now, stting with a cuppa now for a break!

    Morning ladies, how is everyone?

Well I've just stuck my oar into that milk thread again I can't help it, I just have to say what I think. I think I'd bettr stop reading it...eeeek!

Anyway I'm feeling a little better today even though I have, once again, been ditched for football. I have decided that instead of wallowing in self pity
I am going to find myself some hobbies and things I can do for myself and make him stay home with bubs sometimes. It will be good for me and maybe make him see how hard it is bing stuck home with baby! So if anyone has any ideas what  can do while I'm pregnant? I was thinking about maybe swimming for a start.

Tbh Kerriann, I think I'm just so jealous of the fact that he seems so free compared to me iykwim. I let him go off and do his own thing when he wants because I think he desrves to but I don't get the same in return. It doesn't happen often, usually just when his brother is here but I just wish I could go off and do stuff without worrying. Of course being a mum I will worry anyway so I can't win! lol! Anyhow I'm not going to mope. My dad will be picking me up soon and going to visit family so at least I will be out of the house and with adults!

What are you up to today? Weather is hot but cloudy here so I'm hoping to st outside where ever I end up going!

Omg Angela I've posted on it 3 times but that's it now I'm staying off that thread. I mean I know people hav their opinions and some people want everyone else to know but why some people feel the need to be mean and start name calling is beyond me? I think also though it's too easy for you to type one thing and for someone to take it th wrong way because it reads differntly. Now that it appears to be turning into more of a debate I'm staying well clear! lol!

Have just seen your post too Kerriann.....very diplomatic! lol! If only everyone could just give their side and leave it at that. Anyway, enough breath wasted on that! I have been totally ditched today by Ryan he has gone to a football match with hs brother so just for a change I am stuck in the house alone with Cole. And as you can tell I'm feling very sorry for myself

I'm ok thanks Helen.  I know what you mean about tired though I feel a bit better today.

I'm avoiding the thread on providing milk in hospital before I get in an argument! Lol.  I was only saying you can buy them ready made, not telling people they had to or I thought they were cheap (cos they're not).  Easier than faffing on in hospital though IMO.

Then again they apparently tell you to make bottles as you need them now and not store them in the fridge for 24 hours.  I used to make up enough for 24 hours with Christopher & he was fine so intend to do the same next time despite what they say.  As long as you wash & sterilise them properly they'll be fine.  My mum used to do the same & I never took any harm!

    That's it, rant over, lol

    Morning ladies!

I know I shouldn't go on about it as you are all feling the same but GOD I'm exhausted. I felt exhausted the moment I got out of bed this morning If anyone has any tips on how to deal with it thy'd be much appreciated. I thought it was bad after having cole and being up 3/4 times a night but this is even worse! I thought you're supposed to get your energy back in second trimester? I thnk mines gone away for good.

Ryans brother is here from Dubai for the week so I may as well not exist, so he's no help He did bring me a sausage and egg mcmuffin from macds this morning though It's only the second time I've had breakfast since I got pregnant so that was nice.

Kerriann your scan pic is lovely I looked at it yesterday but didn't have time to write anything cos boys took over my comp

Angela I am the same with Cole. I am very shy and hate meeting new people. I've plucked up the courage to go to 2 playgroups and they were both disasters with not very nice people. So that's put me off going to anymore. I think it will have to wait til this bubs is born now as I'm too tired to make myslf look presentable enough to go out anywhere!!! .....there I go whinging again

    How is everyone?

    Hiya

Sorry been a busy day.  Mum was through this morning & I've been asleep (again) this afternoon.

Kerriann - We never went to groups til now.  I was really bad at taking Christopher to places because of my own shyness.  Pleased the scan was ok.

Teardrop - pleased you're feeling a bit better.

Helen - I'm slowly getting my appetite back but I'm so tired.  Couldn't be bothered at all yesterday and had a headache.  Not good when can't take any painkillers to help.  I haven't cleaned for 2 weeks other than to wash up and hoover the sitting room.  Getting on my nerves & won't get chance tomorrow as Nigel at work in the morning and the footie in the afternoon.  Don't like cleaning on Sundays as the only full day we all get together when it's not his weekend off work.
