I can't even stuff my face tonight
because I am once again very constipated and in a lot of pain
Kerriann....what was that stuff you said to use? I'm going to get some first thing in the morning....can't take this much longer. Not only that but Ryan is watching football on tv so can't watch anything. Thinking about going t bed and watching a dvd.

I am sat on the sofa eating aero bubbles & crisps watching big brother & on bounty! A typical sat night for me

Evening ladies,
I've just got back from visiting my family.....they weren't so bad today,
Have got a fair bit of washing dry today thank goodness! Have tons f it! lol!Shoes are definately an expensive business. I know the cheapest ones they have in clarks are 28 pound! I suppose it's worth it if they last a while, although I don't spend that on my own shoes!!
What we all doing this evening? Skydiving? Abseiling? Or boring like me and sat stuffing face watching tele and chattin on here?! lol!
23/8/08 11:18
We never got Christopher any shoes til he was 15 months on walking properly. I agree with you, there's no point til then.
He doesn't go through them as quick as some toddlers but fast enough! Last ones we got in may.
23/8/08 11:14
That's what I'm not looking forward to Angela.....everyone says that babies are expensive but they're not. It's when thery get bigger and need shoes every few months and school uniforms etc. Just wait til they hit 12 and want 200 pound trainers and everything costs 10 times as much cos it has to be a particular brand!
Cole doesn't have any shoes yet. People keep saying....'you should buy him some shoes' and 'if he had some shoes he could play in the garden' But he can't walk yet and I know he wouldn't wear them and I refuse to waste money. So I'm sticking to my guns and waiting until he can walk. Although according to my lovely family, that makes me 'evil'
Same as I'm evil for not letting him eat biscuits all day! Yes they are getting on my nerves a bit lately! lol! Anyhoo, I'm not up to much today, going to see my above mentioned lovely family later but doubt I'll take anyt crap today cos I'm just not in the mood!
Hehe!23/8/08 10:00
Not much to be honest. Asda tomorrow (how exciting!) and Christopher needs new shoes so will go up town at some point. OK cos Nige paying! Pleased he is as not cheap.

Good morning ladies, well I feel a bit embarrassed after yesterday
I get my over dramatic side from my mum and I hate it! lol!Angela I have added you on facebook.
I heard that too about yur second birth being 'easier'....usually quicker more than anything. My mum always tells me how she woke up at 8am with light stomach pains and by 9.30am I had come into the world!! I really hope it's as simple as it sounds!! lol! But Kerriann you were right about the scan. I feel more excited about my baby and a lot less worried about labour. Whatever it takes to get the little bean here safely

So what we all up to this weekend?
23/8/08 09:34
Oh let me know what they say Angela, i think I will def end up with c-section again so not holding my breath for a vbac. Hope you get one tho can't see why you shouldn't unless for other reasons like baby is breech etc.
xx
23/8/08 09:28
That sounds good, lol.
Really hoping for a normal birth this time. Was only cos he was back to back and got his head stuck that I had a c section last time. See the consultant at about 34 wks to discuss it.
23/8/08 09:26
They say labouring is easier with your second, my friend had a baby girl a few weeks ago & she weighed 9lb 13oz & only had gas & air that was her second.

23/8/08 09:19
They thought Christopher would be 9lb/9 1/2lb too as was 8lb at 37 weeks. He was 8lb 8oz.
23/8/08 09:06
Oh no Angela! try not to worry about it tho as they told me Sophie would be over 9lb & she was only 7lb 4oz. So I never listen to them now lol
xx
23/8/08 08:58
Forgot to say according to my bump chart they did yesterday, baby will be anywhere between 7lb 8oz and 10lb
Better bloody hadn't be!! Average line is 8lb 10oz approx which is just slightly bigger than Christopher so fingers crossed this one's the same or I will be asking for a c section, lol.23/8/08 08:56
Thanks

Not just you. I was waddling by 5 months last time so no hope for me! lol23/8/08 08:36
Morning ladies,
Angela I think we will all have those "what was I thinking having another" moment throughout our pregnancy's at different stages lol It will be interesting as to see as our bumps get bigger & we can't do anything but waddle
or is that just me
I'm just going to add you on face book now.

Morning

Helen - hope you get sorted with the antibiotics.Yes I am on facebook (will pm you on here so you can add me as I don't know which one is you, lol). Not on there very often but please add me

We didn't take Christopher with us yesterday but think we will to 20 week scan. He kept looking at scan photos and saying "baby" but not sure he understands yet.
Kerriann - hope you get your scan date soon. I'll pm you too if you are on facebook

Nigel (dh) has gone all cuddly since yesterday (more than normal). Think it's finally sunk in that it's true. We can't stop looking at scan pics and giggling. Then Christopher played up at bedtime and I had a "what the heck was I thinking having another" moment, lol.
22/8/08 22:25
Aww that sounds so sweet Helen def a kodak moment! Glad you have calmed down now lol
I'm still waiting on my 12 week scan to come through, my booking in appointment is the 27th Aug so maybe it will be a few weeks after that

xx
22/8/08 22:21
You'll be glad to knw I've totally calmed down now. I just have no trust in my doctor and it's getting a bit much now! lol! Should be moving to another one soon so that will be better. I am so terribly hormonal today, Ryan keeps asking if I'm jekyll or hyde

To answer your question though Kerriann, he was very happy after the scan and excited. It was so lovely cs we all went and Cole was sat in his pushchair watching and he starting pointing towards the screen and saying 'dis''dis', it was so cute and we were all smiling and joking the whole time. One of those kodak moments iykwim. I was just laid there....jelly on my belly, thinking how lucky I was. Aww, aren't I sloppy hehe!
Will your next scan be the 20 week one then Kerriann? If so it shouldn't be too long after mine.

Morning all
Helen - I'm the same. Pay £28 for christophers shoes in Clarks & don't pay that much for my own!
We have "Lost" night on Saturdays. Got the dvd boxsets and have started rewatching from the start now that there's nothing on telly on Saturdays (I usually watch Doctor Who when it's on). Has to be accompanied by large bar of choccy, lol.
