I'm expecting my first and heard heartbeat at 9 weeks, the reassurance is unbelievable. I don't always manage to hear it every time i try though which can be frustrating, feels like it's becoming a bit of a challenge!

This thing is amazing. Is a fetal doppler which we got from ebay for £30 with ultrasond gel. It claims that it can be used from around 10-12 weeks. I didn't think it would work but after some digging we found the hearbeat and were able to record it on the computr too.

I would highly recommend it. We don't have our 12 week scan until next Friday and he reassurance that thngs were ok was fantastic. Good bonding for DH too. He couldn't believe wha he was hearing. Anyhoo just thought I'd let you know it works. xxx
