I was desperate for stilton the other week, and found an article on babycentre which said that as long as you make sure it is cooked until piping hot it is safe to eat!!!! Hoorah!!!!

I cooked a mushroom with stilton on top for my tea tonight, and it really hit the spot

Make sure you use something strong as stilton is very strong. I would use davidstow extra mature (personal fav-nice and strong with a bit of bite to it.) hth.xx

    I have a questionKateMama

As part of my decision to eat more healthy during this pregnancy (rather than gorging on pizza and chocolate like I did last time) I wanted to make a soup that I love using brocolli and stilton but obviously need an alternative to the stilton.  Any chefs out there have any idea what other cheese would work (that us preggers are allowed to eat)!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you!
