It's all very scientific! Have just had a look on the website about how it works and have been sat squinting at my scan pic.....I now have a headache! lol! I might go and ask the lady in a few weeks, don't know that I'm ready to find out just yet!

Oooo this is so exciting!  I have my 12 wk scan tomorrow so will be def be looking for the nub!  If its clear in the pic will let you have a look!

Hey ladies. Its me who is guessing. Im doing it for fun, its not 100%, but I have looked at a lot of pics and have got quite a few right. I will let you know if nub is not visible. hi sorry im gate crashing from dif hope u dont mind. i couldnt see the nub in my scan photo either so gonna upload it and ask the lady to try and guess. so far she has got 1 right and every one will confirm on their scans. hope she can guess my i cant wait to find out. take care every one xx

Just seen a thread on due in Feb for a lady who will attempt to guess boy or girl from your 12 week scan pic using the nub theory.
