heya I think I had everything by about 16 weeks with my dd but she was my first lol...bought the cot and buggy for my ds by the time i was 12 weeks with him lol but am waiting for ages wit this one...all we need by the way of big stuff is a moses basket really and everything else can just wait so we'll just get bits and bobs as we see them after we get the all-clear from the 12 week scan...

As ds is still in nappies but should be potty trained by the time bubs arrives, I'll just buy nappies as I normally do when he's out of them if that makes sense...? x

With  my DD i went mad straight away! This time i'm more cautious. I know there are higher risks with twins so we're waiting until our 20wk scan until we buy the big stuff and clothes etc. I have however started to stock pile up on nappies as it seems to save a fortune whilst you're adjusting to the maternity leave pittance

    Hi all

As a first time mum to be, when do you consider it "Okay" to start buying baby bits?  I have been good with looking and not buying but not sure how much longer i can hold out!!
