so sorry for your losses girls really am
i aint lost anybody really close to me ..my brother is disabeled and was giving a life expendancy of 18 he is now 20 :-)
but my friend did loose a still born lil girl at 28 weeks
lift can be so so unfair

Aww Katy i can totally sympathise with u there, my mum was murdered when i was 7, had my dad as my mum but he went when i was 19 too, as i say life is so uncertain but one thing u can be sure of is ur gonna die sad really when it the only thing u can garuntee, hey we ar a bunch of hormonal ladies others will come and read these last few post and propb start crying. x

Loosing anyone is a nightmare, its so unfair- I lost my mum 6 years ago suddenly from a brain tumour when I was just 20, she wasnt there for my 21st birthday, graduation, wedding and now not for me being pregnnat for the first time.
Thats why im so glad ive got you lot to ask stuff cause its very difficult not having a mum to ask, she would have been a wonderful grandma too.
My dad is still grieveing, they were so in love - like teenagers, I wish i could help him but I cant, he just misses her so much.
Life can be sh*t!

i dont know if it was that.......she had pretty long draw out labour ending in emergancy c section................
My nephew died at 17 months of phnemonia(sp) we collect my sil and bil from hospital the morning after it happened and when we arrived back to there house little toms milk was on the table and his toys everywhere it was just devastating............his pram in the hall way and my husband had to drive their car back from hospital with is little car seat and toys everywhere..........it was so hard
took years for them to recover from their loss its been 5 years but still they struggle and have never had anymore children 
life is so cruel!

personally i do belive people are left to long but i guess thats just me a lady i know was left 14 days over and when she give birth her little girl was born sleeping

its so sad i remember e-lou from ttc, poor lady, my mate hadnt a bleed since begin of june had a scan last week but was told to come bk today and its died not grown at all. xx

I read that thread too and its just awful - do you think thats what happened then - she was left too long? I cant begin to imagine what they are going through, and the thought of returning home to all the stuff you've bought and a nursery just breaks my heart.
Pass our thoughts on to your friend as well Bionic babe - was it her 12 week scan?

a girl from ttc i used to chat went into labour yesterday 10 days late and baby was born sleeping - DIA E-LOU my love is with u and all ur family rest in peace little zack xxxLou x

Ah im having such a crap day, 1 of my bests went 4 a scan today n her baby died, we were due 3 weeks apart n i feel so guilty i know she may feel awkward around me, i dont know what to say to her just sat here crying, lifes so cruel to some ppl x

I do PR for property companies - there is only 4 of us in the office so we dont have any policies or procedures so Im hoping to shape our maternity policy!

We r back from town soaking wet and have a banging headache!!! however i did get my free changing bag from boots so at least thats something!!!
DD and i ate our way thru a bag of hot donuts!!
Now having a cuppa.....................yum!

Hey Katy,
Don't know if this helps, but I have to sign a letter saying that in return for 12 weeks half pay, I will return to work for a minimum of 12 weeks at the end of my maternity leave. (i'm also given the option of recieving the 12 weeks half pay when its due, or recieing it 12 weeks after i return to work as a thank you for coming back kind of thing!)

Morning ladies.................well its FRIDAY!!!! Thank god for that. So how is everyone today? Im off to mothercare as ive promised Oliver he can help choose something for baby yannis to wear then we are meeting a friend at pizza hut!!yum yum, i cant wait. I feel so isolated ive literally not been out all week-it is awful and Ollie's getting a bit stir crazy too.
For that reason i may not be on long today-have a fab friday everyone and i shall look forward to ontributing on Bex's random friday afternoon thread later on.xx
