Luckily I have thrown DD at her cot for her nap and I think it's taken
*waits for cry from upstairs*.The weather is pants and DD is bored and became a demon child this morning. Didn't want to play with playdough or draw or anything, just wanted to whinge. And ideas for this afternoon? Or should I just be a bad mummy and put on a DVD for her

Im sure you'll come to some arrangement katywoo - u do all the negotiating you can hun..... ull get what you want in the end lol... Good luck!
Well the lady been to look at our garden - gotta wait for contractors now to have a look and price it up - the trust that own the house r paying for it but theyre umming and ahhhing over it - think theyd rather me take em to cleaners and get compensation coz dd has fell over in my unsafe garden twice and injured herself..... been to see my mp who also said that the garden should have been made safe before i moved in last november! Its took them this long to come and look at it lol
Anyway, enuff o the boring stuff, im free to go out now yay - so gonna go to my mums i think to see her before she jets off tomorrow, then to do some shopping me thinks

hee hee the attitude in my office is lets muddle through somehow - so i dont reckon i;ll get replaced - poor Dee and Jenny will just end up with twice the amount of work!
I just though if i dont ask, i wont get - so may as well start there and get the negociations going! And if ioffer to do writing from home for them - then Im still alot cheaper than employing a freelancer!
Fingers crossed! (otherwise is beans on toast for 9 months!!)

Morning girlies. Hope all is well with everyone. Had my scan on Tuesday and bean was really naughty! I had to go off for a walk round the hospital to calm it down, so they could measure the nuchal fold. All is well with beanie though and my next scan isn't until the 3rd November, can't wait to find out what we're having!!! Jess went back to school yesterday and Ellie's having a nap, so all is quiet here....

Hiya girls!!
I had a home visit from two of the teachers at Mya's new pre school (she starts on the 25th) yesterday, it was great!! They spent ages getting to know her and are soooo lovely. They are going to spend lots of time talking about brothers and sisters with her and getting her chatting to other kids who have baby siblings to help her adjust!! They also want me to go in when baby is born and talk about new babies with the class as they say Mya will be sooo proud to show off her new sibling and that will help her accept the changes as well. They really are fantastic and have 4 staff for only 12 kids, i'm sooo happy.
Lilmermaid that is appalling!! Hope you get it sorted.
Katywoo - I hope you get what you want - but is she having to employ someone while you are off? If so I think it may be unlikely as she will paying your wages to someone else already.
Lou - cool scan pic!! Woohoo xxx

Need to go and do the shopping and go to the bank but got to wait for the garage to come and pick up the car for repairing (from a prang back in April, mind!) so am grounded until I hear from them....hmmmmmm need to blitz the house as it's a tip and dp's sis and bil are coming over tomorrow but really can't be bothered to move at all lol xx

Morning all!
Well im feeling prettybrubbish, got suspended from work yesterday as part of a witch hunt to reduce what redundancy pay they pay out, so im off to Citizens Advice Bureau today to find out what assistance myself and DH could get if i politely tell them to shove their job, been made to feel like ive done something wrong even though i know i havent. 20 ppl have been suspended so far, all of which done after we were told our jobs were at risk of redundancy, all of us due a few thousand pay out, how convenient!!!
I wont let it lie there though, if i do resign (due to the fact being PG i dont need the stress) then i will be taking them for constructive dismissal and take them to the press. No more Mrs nice girl!!
Hope everyone elses day is looking better than mine!!
Sarah xx

Mornin All!
WOOOOOOOOOOO its Friday!! How grim is it though? Its like November in Leeds today! day has started off hilariously - went to the petrol station on the way to work and managed to drop my petrol cap under the car - grrrr - man in the shop thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen - oh well im here now and munching my brekkie!
Weve got the skip coming today - ive never been so excietd about a clear out in my life! All the cr@p is going this weekend to make room for little titch! Just cant wait to get the nursery all sorted now.
Also managed to get DH to sit down and discuss maternity leave/pay with me last night and we have decided im going to finish 4 week before, but take 1 week of that as holiday, then have the other 3 weeks and additional 3 weeks @ 90% then Im going to ask my boss if she can bump the £117 a week up to between £200 and £250 a week (so as she gets the £117 back from the goverment she will be shelling out between 83 and 133 a week for me extra - but compared to the fact that at the moment i get about £400 a week she is saving herself a considerbale amount of money so I hope she sasy yes!) in retuirn for that she gets my loyalty, as in I will come back after my maternity leave for a certain amount of time and I will offer to write a few press releases/features a month for her from home!
Fingers Crossed!!
And im 15 weeks today wooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Morning Ladies, it seems Pizza hut must be a fave with pg ladies as i'm going there tonight with dp and dd, we're going to tell her she's gonna have a brother or sister, although i think she's guessed as she really is bright and keeps noticing my bounty book and huggies flyers etc but last night (whilst she was sat on the toilet doing number 2's) she asked me "mummy, how do babies get out of mummies tummies?" I'm sure she'll take the news well but we're going to use pizza hut as a bit of a be good bribary ha ha ha
about a month agao i hurt my back and was off work for 2 weeks and got referred to physio, i have last physio session today and my back WAS feeling 100% again, until yesterday when because i was getting no pain the stiffness had gone i thought "i'll be ok on the bouncy castle with dd" - Uh oh am in agony again today, my physio is going to be really cross am feeling like a scared schoolgirl
My Dp came home last night from a week away and noticed me limping i told him what happened and he really told me off - missed you too darling! hope everyone has a fab friday -x- -

hi girls, sorry this is a bit sombre for this early but my sis is a nurse n she said one of the girls she works with is 9 weeks and caught chickenpox and has been told the baby may be born with a physical disability. Im not a doctor or anything so i cant say its fact, but cant see why she'd make it up either.
On a happier note, my sister is having my lo all day, from 10 to 3 so i can 'sort myself out' as apparently i look a wreck. Iv got a driving lesson too. Si gdet to have a BATH not a shower, woohoo!
