I'm amazed how much your body pings back into your pg shape for #2. I thought I showed early last time but in reality that was just wishful thinking - how things change! Going into the office on Tuesday after my scan and I bet everyone will be shocked I'm only 12 weeks (work from home so not been in for ages).

HI i had the same problem. I got big really early on and at 6 weeks people even commented say oooh look someones up the duff. It was really hard coz this is my 1st i didn't want to tell anyone till i had my 1st scan. I was getting really depressed coz nothing fitted, everything made me look fat, i just kept crying (sure preg emotions didn't help) But then my partner bought me a badge that said "mummy to be" i wore it the day after my scan to work and everyone commented, it was nice coz l've always been toned, i teach dance and didn't want people thinking i had let myself go. Lots of people did say tho that they thought i had been putting on a lot of weight, partners mum said she had noticed ages ago and partners ex had already started the sis/bro chat with his other daughter as she had seen my tummy and thought that there might be some news.

Just shows tho that lots of people notice if you gain weight! BUGGER!

Ooops sorry hon (can you tell i have a complex about my weight??) i look much further on too and have put about half a stone on-at least shes happy for you.xx

hehe bless something similar happened to a old primary school teacher my aunt said to her ooh ur expecting congrats when are u due and she said im not haha oops red faces all round, i think its hard at the weeks up to about 15ish as u put weight on u get a bellly and ppl look at u as if to say im sure ur preg but dont wanna ask just incase lol

Oh  sorry, I didn't mean it like that...she was thrilled to bits and a bit embarassed to admit she thought I was. TBH I am really conscious of it because I look more like 6 months. She hasn't seen me for 4 months so is used to me being quite slim(ish) 

An you say this person is a friend....thats not very nice-she should have just said she was happy for you and not  what she did. never mind hon just think of holding you lo in 6 months time.xx

I thought so but didn't want to mention it - because she didn't want to tell me I was fat!!! Then my friend told her 14 year old son and he said "I'm not surprised" again because of my fat tummy. I'm not even 12 weeks yet arrgggghhhh!!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness I can finally tell everyone on Tuesday
