I work in M&S and although I haven't tried the maternity bras their non wired tshirt bras are quite comfy but I'm only a 36D so that might make a difference, i know in my store the girls who fit people are lovely and very knowledgeable but can't speak for everywhere else. x

Bravissimo told me that non-wired bras fit differently to the wired ones when I got one from them the other week.
Mine were digging in under my arms, so I figured I'd lose the wires for a while.
I started in a 36GG, but I think I might be a 36H already. I think I'll be trying to find some cheap mothercare ones (not attractive at all according to DH) instead of paying £30 each time my cup size increases. Trouble is, I can't get my size very easily..

My boobs don't shrink afterwards either - I bf ds2 for a year, and they haven't got smaller since...!

You dont have to wear maternity bras....i had a fitting at bravissimo for one and she said so long as the underwired bit is not cutting into breast tissue you are fine to wear whatever bra you like. I was a 36F, the lady advised i buy a 38FF next which i will be doing so there is enough room to grow-hope this helps.xx

Can i just ask ladies... I am currently wearing my 32G bra which is getting a bit on the tight side now!.. It is underwired and i was just wondering how supportive are sports bras/maternity bras? ... I have a really bad hang up with my boob image and dont want them to look saggy or unsupported.. The rate i am going i am going to end up in a H or J size
... Really don't like having a big bust!!!xx

I always use www.bravissimo.com. I'm regularily a 34F and have gone up 2 sizes to a 36G - good gosh!!!! They will do fast deliveries and if there is any problems there's never an issue with returns.

I always go to a specialist bra shop. I got some lovely ones last time. M&S are hideous so wouldn't recommend them - they were soooo painful

i;ve only ever used mothercare too and i had same problems but new look have a nice range of maternity bras nowadays and i think peac***s now do them so u could always give them a try.
good luck and let me know how u get on cos i'm 36dd at the mo and as well find it hard to get maternity bras for larger sizes!

which are the best? last 2 times I had mothercare, absolutely hated them the last time - no support whatsoever (and I'm 36F now so need it!) need to think about getting some now as the underwire on my current bras is digging in on one side ..............can anyone recommend one?
xx

My boobs are normally a 36 F and I go to Debenhams and get measured for maternity bras. They do some lovely designs for bigger boobs ! I've heard Mothercare are good, but I've never heard a good word said about M&S so always avoid them (sorry!!). I think you get what you pay for with bras. The cheaper ones aren't up to much especially when you need a lot of support ha ha ! I just buy one and wear it for 2 days then wash at night ready for the next morning lol. Otherwise it would cost a fortune as they're constantly growing during pg (well mine are anyway!!!!) xxx
